For some unexplainable reason, that I honestly don't know, this particular painted wild dog makes me think of Greek mythology. Just the blend of colors and it's remarkable design trigger my mind to think of Greek mythology, as weird as it sounds, it's oddly true, but it is the reason I chose to name her Iolei, as the "Io" part comes from the Greek myth of Io. I also thought she would make a perfect mate or aquaintance with Splash, since their colors look like they would go together well, so I figured I'd give it a shot. =3

The whole batch looks amazing, you guys both did a great job designing ^^ This one stood out to me though, I think, because I like how he is primarily white with brown and tan designs instead of just having a few white bits on a brown-ish base.
Although it was a struggle to decide between one and two X3

I see everyone typing down information as to why the name, and to be honest, I don't have one. I was just looking at this girl and after a while the name just clicked. I see Chia designed this one, and all I must say is great collaboration of lines and design. =3

His gorgeous design stood out to me, and I adore the name Kopa. I've never quite found the right character to name Kopa, and when I saw this guy I just clicked. <3
He'll be sure to get lots of art, and a good background story from me. <3

Just as a basis, he's a loner-type rouge, with a ladie's man attitude. Still, he cares for his baby sister Kahili more than anything in the world, and he raises her, since they are both orphaned thanks to illegal hunting.
I will be drawing Kahili if I get Kopa. X3

Nella was the runt of the litter, but the most loyal and just. She was very smart and knew when to run. Her siblings considered that cowardice, leading to their deaths. Nella had run when she knew something was wrong, but her family was too confident and stayed. They were killed by a pride of lions. Nella wandered alone for a long time. Then, she met Cole. Cole was kind and gentle, he also had the sense to run when he needed to. Cole had saved Nella when she was cornered by a clan of Hyenas. Cole had not hesitate and charged the clan, scattering them. He growled until they dispersed, therefore saving Nella's life. She had fallen in love with him the moment she saw him. They were a great couple, always together. They knew what made the other tick and hoped to have a litter. But, disaster struck. A storm broke them apart. The lightning had created a abyss, cutting them off from each other. "Nella! Wait for me! I will find you again!" Cole called. "I will too!" Nella yelled back. They turned away and ran off to find their way back to each other.

It took a long time. Three years passed before they found each other again.
