Okay, huge huge huge request to ask of the staff of Jellybean Dragons.

    Here goes nothing:

Please make more beans a day, easy to win ones, and base them more on the passion in the form then the good-looks. I mean, some of us are expert coders and artists entering at whim just to own one as a fashion statement to rub in others' faces, and some of us would jump into jellyfish-and-shark-infested waters to get one, just to love and draw, even if we're bad at art and coding, and use generic words that don't sound special. I have personally loomed over my computer for hours, trying to get my form just right like the others so I have a chance, but I'm pretty bad at art and coding so I get beat by people with pretty forms and art decorating the form.

So, for example, I'm going to make a fake(COMPLETELY FAKE) female bean, composed of tan as a base, a lighter tan in smaller amounts, a white "cape" on top of the head and back, and little dark-purple dots in clusters in the white.

If you have an awesome looking form worded like this:

    Name: Adam
    Gender: Female
    Age: 20
    Personality: Sweet, loving, brave

That looks good, I don't think it should win compared to a non-decorated form like below(the same purely imaginary 'Bean and form)

    Name: Hot Cross, aka Roll.
I based the name off of the light tan and darker wheat colors, along with the white highlights and the small dark purple dots. I think the pale colors look like the base bun and the purple looks like the little raisins in the bun. The white looks like the glazed sugar on top. I can almost smell the salty-sweet aroma coming out of my screen! (With the understanding that it's not food...)

Gender: I would consider this dragon female. The purple looks too feminine for a male, and the sweetness looks like a pastry, light and fluffy.

Age: She would be 17, her birthday being July 17th. Her zodiac is Cancer. However, she'd displeased with her birthday being in the summer, because it's too hot to go to a tropical destination like she'd like to. She would like it to be in the winter so it would be like a vacation, not an even hotter sauna.

Personality: Roll is a decently pleasant chum to be around. She loves spoiling her friends with homemade treats and little braclets of woven embroidery thread. She isn't too active and easily gets tired if she has to run for more than 5 minutes straight. Most would see that as a bad thing, but it keeps her more based towards the kitchen; the one place she feels completely at ease and worry-free. It actually is beneficial to be around when she's having a bad day, because you will go out of her owner's house stuffed to the brim with pastries and cookies, and other sweets.

She throughly enjoys archery, but refuses to hit anything but plain targets. She would never want to hurt anything, even if it was a fly(she has a pretty noticable exception when it comes to any spider that isn't smaller than a dime and isn't completely transparent.)

Hot Cross is a great gardner[to an extent], and has a green thumb with fruits and plants used to make flours and other ingredients(oddly enough, no non-edible thing has ever reached more than than a sprouting stage). Her completely home-made berry and fruit pies have won many blue ribbons at the fair, along with Roll's milk-fed giant pie pumpkins.

Another passion she has is goldfish raising. She loves all fancy types of goldfish, especially Ryukins and other types of cute ones. She took over the old tool shed and acquired some tanks from garage sales, and also dug a large pond for her larger ones. Her heart always skips when she sees little goldfish fry nibble at her zuchinni fresh from the stalk, happily tearing off bite-sized morsels.

She also can be quite brave if it's called for. She has rescued her little Appaloosa foal, Apache, from roaring storms when he ran into the barren hills when Roll's life was at stake, and has more than once dropped everything she was doing to get help for someone who had fractured a bone and couldn't move, even if she had to clear away blood(which she was extremely squeamish with.)

    I'm sorry if I sound rude and demanding or just plain dumb, but I really do think that we should have many more beans available so everyone gets a chance for the amazing ones. And maybe less competitions judged on looks, and more on extreme thought and effort? I'm not pointing fingers, but a few beans have been judged unfairly before. So, please hear my request for easier beans. ;w;

I think it'd be good for Komi to design, since I'm pretty much down and out. :I

Hekomi wrote:Thanks for the suggestion! I do try to get more beans made but it's all dependent on the artists. I know when I'm judging formatting doesn't matter to me, I'm interested in the content. Can't speak for all the other staff though. ^^

As for easy contests, I do like those!

Also... I have a question. I asked to be added to the main lines so I can make a new nursery. Since over the next little while, I'll be less busy. Though I'm not an artist, I have made beans before [some of you already know this] I was wondering if you guys would mind me making some beans? I can certainly make some quick to adopt, easy contest beans over the next few days. :) I know I'm not as great at designing as some of the staff, but maybe that might help too?

I'm all for that. all. the. way.
