Mountain Lupin

The lupins who live on mountains have large feathered wings, which allows them to hunt in such a harsh place, these are the second hardest Lupin to find in the lands. Unlike their forest counter-parts they have a regal nature, often aloof and hard to befriend, but when they are they make loyal and ferocious allies. They are the largest of their kind, these Lupin are the size of a horse, making them a valued source of travel. They can remain airborne for days on end and can go long periods of time without food but can not go longer than a day without water.

Story of how you found him/her: I hiked up the steep mountain, burying my face into the scarf I was wearing, and wrapping it tightly around my face. It was cold up here...why I took that bet I don't know. I looked up at the darkening sky and figured I wouldn't be able to make it back, but I wasn't going to shrug away from a challenge. I kept climbing to the top...it was nearly an hour later when I collapsed, I was exhausted...'I'm gonna die' I thought to myself. I lay there for what felt like hours when I felt a warm furry shape curl around me, 'Oh yeah...I am so dead...' I thought. I looked up at the face of a large wolf. I jumped up and backed away warily...It had wings! "What the..." I murmured to myself. I moved closer to me slowly and nuzzled my neck and sniffed me. I cringe expecting it to eat me. Instead it licked me! I had just made a new friend..."Hi..."
