this species, more of a marsupial then anything, has a long snout, and a wolf-brow, but a bear like mouth. It has hyena ears, round and thick, they are pretty smooth hair-ed on the inside, and are used for listening to small mammals while hunting. This animal likes fruits, but if times get harder, they can eat mice, voles, any small mammal they can eat. This animal is docile, but if thretened, it rears up on it's hind legs and roars. Now, this species is not draconian...at all. It is purely warm-blooded. Covered in thick fur, except it's nose, this species has been hunted for it's pelts, and has decreased in numbers, but due to restrictions of hunting, they have made a comeback, and have found their way into being domesticated. Now, this species is more of a peaceful creature, but also has weaknesses to new diseases, new mutations, and other rare genetic adding and sub species.

Though they aren't social or solitary, they establish knowledge of their surroundings, neighbors, and allies. They have a new class, outside of social and solitary. A Community type of reaction to others. They have greeting calls, they often court and have their own ranks(but not like wolves, theirs are more of popularity like in schools and with humans). They mate for life, and live for 70 years, or more, but the oldest recorded died at age 68. They are born in eggs, kinda like a platypus, and are born in bunches of 1-3, no more then three though...well, not yet though. The average is 2, or one, rarely three. Now, this species holds a weird way of courting. They normally 'buck' with other males, kinda like how teen boys brawl over a girlfriend. The two males will stand on their hind legs and box each other, jabbing, biting, head butting, anything to knock the other over, and by the end, whoever hits the dust first, is the loser, and has to crawl away on all fours.


Accompaning this species, is a 'pet' normally this creature is adopted and treated like a child, and is named 'Morraine'. It has feather-like items that flare up in the back like a peacock during courting, and it is a racing, climbing creature. It has a clicking sound that warns it's owner, or others of a unwanted arrival. Once bonded to it's owner, the Morraine will never leave or run away, and it will die by it's owners side if it has to. Morraines have more of a spiritual bonding to it's owner, and if separated, the Morraine will die of loneliness and never pair with another owner. Morraines don't mate for life, but they do stick with their mate for the time being through the birth, raising, and weaning until the children are off, and then the female either lets him court her again, or chases him off to find a new mate for the season.

Yeah, I love antlers! The wings sound good as an add-on, maybe the antlers could be one as well...
