EDIT: So after checking out the Species Standards Thread, I saw that appaloosas are undesirable and that so far, none have been made. But when I saw the blue roan's pattern, it looks like he has a few darker spots that look like the appaloosa pattern; would he have the appaloosa markings, or is it something else?

no they are like catch a bird spots but black. i forget what there called

The spots on him are called corn marks, which are caused by slight scratches where the hair grows in solid on roans. c:

oh thats weird i didnt even know that. on solid horses rubbed hair grows in white

So concerning the face markings, I was a bit confused. Is face shadowing desirable or a fault?
