OK everyone!
I know KSKs are a bit slow atm ... but that's going to change very very soon! I'm bringing them back to life ;3
We're going to get an artist competition, new lines, a nursery, offer customs, and more. It's going to be awesome! :'D
Thanks everyone for being so awesome, the stream of new stuff should begin soon! uvu <333

They say that shooting stars make wishes come true…and maybe they’re right. That is, if your wish is for a fluffy, bright-colored friend – a Kismet Starkeeper. The first Kismet Starkeepers came from fallen stars, or so the legends say. But one thing we do know for sure is that every Kismet contains the essence of a star in its tail orb and the orb at the base of its horn (these orbs are also known as Starkeeps). This essence can be drawn from to create tiny versions of stars, which the Kismet can control and use for anything they like, from light to battle to courtship and everything in between. When Kismets’ stars have served their purpose, they return them to their Starkeeps, and thus the essence within is kept in equilibrium. However, they have their limits – each Kismet can only draw a certain amount of stars from the essence in their Starkeeps. Losing all the essence from their Starkeeps -- by creating too many stars at a time -- is fatal to Kismets. Thankfully though, this doesn’t happen often -- Kismet Starkeepers tend to carefully maintain the number of stars they create at a time for exactly this reason.

Just click on a Kismet that says 'adopt me,' each one has different requirements to adopt stated by the artist on their post ^^
Kismets are always free <3

Don't steal the species or individual Kismet that don't belong to you
No making 'fake'/'illegal' Kismet
If you no longer want your Kismet, please contact me or it's designer ^^
You may have up to 4 Kismet
Don't complain if you don't win
Don't ask to be on the staff
Customs are not available unless you are a staff member
Have fun and enjoy your KSKs! <3

Please try not to make more than 1-2 Kismet per day on average ^^

They can have up to 5 fur colors

Their fur should be bright/light colored --
it's fine to have some dark colors in their designs, just not too much
and definitely no dark base colors ^^

The Starkeep on the tail and at the base of the horn are almost always the same color

Please, once a KSK has been adopted, remove the adopt me sign from the image and edit the first post to contain the winner's form or at least their username & the KSK's name <3

We now have a name for the strange condition in which a KSK remains child/teen - like in both looks and maturity forever! It is known as Fountain Of Youth Syndrome, or FOYS for short. Feel free to make adoptables with FOYS, although make sure to state it in your post. Adopters are welcome to choose to give it to their child/teen KSKs, though at the moment FOYS cannot be reversed or undone ;3;

You may make yourself up to 1 custom at the moment ^^

Guest Artist slots will open every other Friday, & close again a couple of days later ~

Guest Artists can make up to 3 KSKs for adoption <3 There is a distinct possibility that they will get to make a custom for themselves as well as long as they have 3 or less KSKs ~ if they work hard on their adopts, I will PM them and tell them that they may make themselves a custom ;u; <3 which will almost always happen, I just want to make sure no one rushes through and makes bad adopts and is just in it for the custom x'D <3

Guest Artists will remain in their positions until slots open again, in which case they will be removed, even if they haven't made all their KSKs unu </3

Guest Artists cannot make special/rare/darkly-colored/edited KSKs unless I speak to them about doing this, unlike artists who simply have to ask for permission ~

If you're chosen, do your best on your adoptables! If I really like them I may offer you a job as a fulltime artist x3 And of course if you make good adopts you'll get to make a custom ~

Please don't misuse this position or I will stop offering it </3
