Species Name:Maw-slicks
Habitat:Lives in underground burrows as a baby and makes nest in trees as adults
Diet:anything they like,but they posess a paticular disgust fro human food especially junk food, and candy give them an illness called goula, which can result in death for the younger of the breed.
Size:!5cm as babys, growing up to a metre as adults.
Coloration/Markings:dark colours with lots of circular patterns. never neon or pastel, though darker pastel is sometimes seen
Behaviour:hardly seen by humans but are friendlly with all other types of species. adult males are aggresive towards others of the same sex.
Are they domesticated?:hardly ever. there have been three reported cases of domesticated breeds.
Other interesting facts:
they love to have large familys,
eat strawbeer which is a drink they make from strawberrys and acorns
mock humans as they think we are silly
they love dogs, especially huskys
they are so fast, it is suspected the can actually materielize and dematerilize at will.
they show a special devotion to whoever brings them up.
their eyes glow in the dark
they don't come outside the forest they are born
they can live fro three centuries(unlike my hamster who died tonight )
they can raise other creatures from they dead with special medcines, which no-one knows the ingriedients for, sadly.
they have a parliment for any creature that would harm them, there was a reported case of a husky having it's fur pulled out after attacking a nest of young maw-slicks.
they construct a mating dance which differs from creature to creature
they will show all love possiblle to their owners.
they hold a concert every summer, unfortu atly they can't sing but we can't get close enogh to tell them. one person did once and was bitten on the leg
referring to the above, though they may look cute, when they are angry their pupils enlarge and huge fangs extend from their otherwise toothless gums.
they like to nest when mating under a large and mossy tree stump.
babies leave home at birth and are raised by other creatures
there are roughly 4-10 babies per litter
they protect all animals, sevral have been killed in road acidents pushing rabbit or cats out of the cars way.
there are roughly 5 million of them in europe, and they cannot be found anywhere else.
in america there are were several black markets but they have been shut down thanks to the M.S.O (Maw-Slick Organistaion)
reffering to the special medcine for raising the dead, unfortunatly they can't use it on themselves so a dead M.S is dead forever.
their paws change colour according to their mood.
finally, when travelling in lakes or water, their Slicks(tails) can expand fins which are also used to balance in trees to travel as a fish would
