well jungle fowl if you believe in evolution because it had the first chicken egg... i think...
Well, Jungle fowl are basically the "wild version" of chickens. I don't believe chickens evolved on their own, I believe we created chickens via selective breeding. When species evolve, it's to improve the species or take away things they no longer need. People still own Jungle fowl today.
We wanted eggs, we bred them to give us eggs once a day. We wanted meat, we bred them to produce more meat than ever.
true, that is another way to look at it, instead of them breeding on there own we would've been apart of it but than wouldn't we not have this question and it would be wrote in lets say a book, the bible or are you saying it was after that?? If it was after that would we still not have this question?

I think that the egg came first, because birds came from dinosaurs and both of the laid eggs, which means that the chicken evolved in eggs. They had to get used to the climate changes, so as the hatched slowly changed, I believe most of the changes happened in the eggs.

It's more like adaptation.
Also, how would you know if cavemen were scared of water?
About birds coming from dinosaurs, so a dinosaur lays an egg and a chicken hatches from it? Or a really small, fast dinosaur, that has feathers?

Fairly small and feathered dinosaurs, I believe.
Velicoraptors could be one of the examples, they're fairly small and already have bird features, but still have the front arms.

Well, I think it's more like slow evolution. Slowly the species changed into chicken-like creatures over generations.
Anway, I think the egg came first. Dinosaurs layed eggs, and then they slowly evolved into chickens.

I was watching this show on history by scientists and if monkeys WERE afraid of water would you not assume we were afraid also if we evolved from apes if you believe in evolution...

Also the picture you provided is a drawing of a velociraptor.

Well there always a mutated gene... Just like all humans used to have brown eyes but than a mutated gene...there are numerous answers to where the wings came from...
