Gingerleaf padded quietly into the overgrown twoleg garden, taking in the air for scent of cat-mint.

Gingerstar stopped and meowed, "Gingerleaf, stay in the bushes for a moment will you?" Gingerstar scented the air and growled and several heart beats later two aggressive kittypets walked into the open. Gingerstar waited with wide eyes.

Gingerleaf gasped and leapt back into the bushes, obeying her leader.

Gingerstar growled when the kittypets spotted her and leapt towards her. She sunk her fangs into the smaller one's shoulder angrily. The kittypet yowled and clawed angrily at Gingerstar's face. Gingerstar lowered her head to protect her eyes and nose before pinning the kittypet down aggressively and clawing at its stomach. The second kittypet leapt onto Gingerstar's back. Gingerstar growled and grabbed the second kittypet's scruff before pulling/throwing the cat off. The first kittypet wiggled out of Gingerstar's grip and ran into the twoleg home while the second kittypet was still putting up a good fight. Gingerstar leapt away from the fight for a moment to catch her breath. The kittypet leapt at Gingerstar again but Gingerstar leapt upward and latched onto the kittypet's back. They rolled around in a bundle of fur and blood for a few heart beats before Gingerstar pinned the kittypet down. Gingerstar breathed heavily and bit into the kittypet's chest, blood splattering onto her own chest. The kittypet yowled and struggled, giving up. Gingerstar leapt off the kittypet and the kittypet went running after its friend. Gingerstar took a moment to groom the fur and blood from her coat before turning to Gingerleaf and meowing, "Hurry and get the catmint..."

After padding back from the hunt, she rested in the apprentices den. Icepaw head a faint yowl. I wonder who that is.. She thought.

Gingerstar rushed over to the catmint and grabbed as much as she could in her jaws. She ran back to Gingerleaf and gave it to her before running back and getting her own mouth full. She then padded over to Gingerleaf and meowed through the catmint, "Let's go back."

Icepaw's stomach growled. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile, and grabbed a mouse.

Gingerleaf nodded and, without hesitation, grabbed a few more stalks of catmint, and rushed after Gingerstar.
