Adopters, aside from all that is obvious;
• You can only own a maximum of 5 MMMs,
including calfs. This may extend later.
• Do not apply for more than one breeding
of the same MMM couple at a time.
• Please, do not ask to be in our staff.
• Do not ask for customs, either, they are
reserved for staff and contests.
• Suggestions for colors and patterns are
totally welcome!
• These rules can be subject to change at
any point in time, if necessary.Artists, aside from all that is obvious;
• You're allowed to have up to 8 MMMs, including
customs and calfs.
• Please no more than two customs.
• Try to make at least one MMM every week or two.
• No outrageous color combinations, it has to be
eye-pleasing and look at least semi-natural.
• Only three runner-ups are allowed to be made, if
any.
• I'd rather there be no accessories, MMMs don't
normally wear any.
• Don't change the eye highlights & shine layers.
Your own eye shading will be needed, though.
• Color the lines, too please. They look nicer. :3
• Don't forget the "Adopt Me?" layer, or a gender
layer.
• Have fun and stay creative.
A Mini Maned Mammoth (or MMM) is a new species found on an unknown island near the coast of Antarctica. We have come to believe these creatures are decedents of a breed of Mammoths. They are roughly the size of an every-day horse, though, so definitely not as big as their extinct brethren.
Mini Maned Mammoths seem to not warm up to humans, and we assume this is slightly because they have many blind-spots where humans could easily spook them. They also don't seem like they could adapt so easily on a different land mass, as this island they have inhabited has extremely rare vegetation that consists of their everyday diet. For example, there are vivid colored berries, low hanging fruit from the trees, and blue grass that grows around the coastal region of this island.
This island that they have lived on for, it seems, decades, has never shown up on maps before. Although we want to take the island for research, we have decided to protect it from just that to save these wonderful creatures. It is slightly too cold during nightfall for humans to inhabit anyway, even if there is no snow or ice on the ground. Instead, we are allowing people adopt them just to observe them, have one to call their own, and name them, of course.
The color range of these Mini Maned Mammoths seem to consist of mainly natural colors, but there's quite the number of other unnatural colored pelts. Either way, these animals are definitely an exotic, colorful beauty.
Some Mini Maned Mammoths live in packs or herds, which are called Woolas. The male MMMs are known as bulls, females as cows, and the babies are called calfs, like that of the everyday cattle. We are not sure if there are any exact dominant or submissive ranks in the Woolas, but they all seem to follow two main Mini Maned Mammoths, which we believe to be mates. It is also believed that these animals mate for life; rarely ever changing their significant other.

I am no longer updating this here. It will soon be moved to a new thread and I will be looking for the archivist to do so for me.
Who Can Make the Best MMM Couple Lineart?
Our first real contest, awesome! I am sorry to those who are not really drawing-oriented, but your contest to enter will come soon enough. Anyhow, this contest is just what the bolded print above states. Who can make the best lineart for Mini Maned Mammoth couples?
This should be an oekaki, but do not put it as an editable. Make sure there is a lock-alpha layer for both of the MMMs and a lines layer(s). It must be easy to color. You may add shading, as it will give you brownie points, but that is completely optional. Finally, add me, Chamila, so I may see the layers. If you have any questions, please PM me!
First place will get a custom, a free breeding, and two dibs cards. (You can only have the custom and free breeding if you do not exceed the MMM owning limit. You can only receive the free breeding if the two MMMs agree to mate for life.)
Second place will get a custom and two dibs cards. (You can only have the custom if you do not exceed the MMM owning limit.)
Third place will get a free breeding and two dibs cars. (You can only have the free breeding if the two MMMs agree to mate for life and if you do not exceed the MMM owning limit.)
Be sure to link me to your oekaki! Whether you post the link here, or you PM it to me, you have to make sure I can see it. ^^
The Following Are Contest Prizes. They Are Only Obtainable By Winning A Contest, Unless Otherwise Stated.Customs
A custom is where you get to decide what an MMM looks like completely, who designs it, and you get to keep it for yourself. They count towards your Mini Maned Mammoth owning limit of five (eight if you are an artist). The Mini Maned Mammoth must, also, be eye-pleasing; so this MMM cannot be a complete glowing, neon, glow stick. Sorry. ;PFree Breedings
A free breeding means you get to have a calf of two MMMs for free. You may decide which Breeding Artist designs the calf. Though, the two parent mammoths must be mates. Remember, these Mini Maned Mammoths mate for life. It is not a one night stand for these animals.Dibs Cards
A "Dibs Card" is a made up thing, really. What it means to have one, though, is that you get to call dibs on any available premade MMM. So, you would still have to fill out the form, but make sure you say you're using your Dibs Card, or else you won't auto win that MMM. Current Dibs Card Owners: rosepetal50.WIP ^^ There are more prizes to come.
