Size:
This gorgeous creature would stand about as tall as a large ragdoll cat.
Story of how you found him/her:
I looked around me. Nothing but white. Nothing but frost. Icy gales froze the blood in my face, buffeting my skin with stinging snowflakes. One minute, the air in the snowy forest had been calm and cool, the next, a fierce snowstorm had reared up, desperate to make sure I never made it out alive. And it would keep howling until it got what it wanted. I forced my way through the arctic air. It left a bitter taste on my lips, like a taste of defeat. My hand, stretched out in front of me, brushed against something. It was a pine tree, the wood turned slightly spongey by the raging snowstorm. With a sigh, I slumped against the silver barked tree, my back to it, and slid into a sitting position on the hard icy ground.
That's when she appeared. At first I panicked. A wolf?! A bear?! I would be easy pickings for a predator in my current weakened state. But then, I realised the shape was too small to be a bear, or even a wolf. It was about the height of a large house cat, and as it approached, it watched me with calm blue eyes. Small blueish sprouts grew from where the creature stepped.
"What are you?" I asked quietly, half believing that she was a hallucination.
Without a sound, the beautiful creature turned away, beckoning for me to follow. I was desperate, so, without any fuss, I did.
They found me only about ten minutes later. I had lost consciousness during the journey, but I was so close to my town, that the creature had run to get help. This strange blue and grey dog, they said, hadn't left my side the whole time I was unconscious since. I turned to her now. She was curled up near the crackling fire in my house, grateful for the warmth. But she sensed me watching, and looked up.
"Well, it doesn't look like you're going to leave anytime soon, so I'll need something to call you by."
I thought for a moment.
"How about....Signum." I murmered, thinking of latin classes. "You were like a sign or omen in the snow, after all." I said.
Signum didn't make a sound, but as she curled up again, her eyes seemed to light up, almost as if she approved of my name selection.
What will you do with him/her if you win him/her:
I would love to roleplay with her, and she would make a nice mate for my dylan. ^-^
