The Hiravis are a creature with a build like a goat and many goat features - including an always stubbed tail. They have two sets of horns - the back curled set for moving objects (tree trunks etc.) and the front for warding off attackers although, they rarely use them for more than defense. Although feathered, they cannot fly. These are just features of them and hold no purpose other than that males with the brightest most wonderful feathers often become leader of the group (Hirk) as most females prefer them. Because of these feathers they do not like water and rarely swim unless absolutely necessary.
We have a fan-site, thanks to thedogandcat. Check it out: http://hiravis.freeforums.org

Goat like build - making them sturdy and good at keeping steady on rock terrain.
Stubbed tail - so they have nothing to trip over when escaping enemies or leaping rocks.
One set of curled back horns - used for moving large objects.
One set of upward horns - used for defence.
Long-ish ears - good long distance hearing.
Feather tufts on back of legs/neck/around tail.
Beards (only males).
Hiravis mostly resemble their goat relatives in colouring as it helps them blend in amongst other animals around there home land but they can be any natural colour bar black - a Hiravis is never all black in colour as the mountains where they live are bright and colourful with flowers most of the year and the very dark coloured Hiravis (mostly black) can't blend in as well.
Hiravis are never very complex in their designs as they do not have many mountain predators so do not need so much camouflage. Having two - three colours mostly.
• Only FemalexMale breeding - I'm not against FxF or MxM pairings but these cannot breed as they can not in nature.
• Each Hiravis can only breed three times.
• They do not generally mate for life but a pair for life often have a better chance at having the very rare twins.
• They can only breed once a week.
• Already bred Hiravis can breed two weeks after they are 'born'.

Artists
I'm currently after artists: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1753052
I am however accepting guest artists. No longer accepting
Guest artists will be added to the colour in list for a week (from the day they are added) and can make up to one Hiravis a day to be put up for adoption. Please not: if I do make an artist competition the Hiravis you make as guest artists will also count as entries because hey will be examples of your skill.
• They can only make a max of one a day.
• They can not make themselves a custom.
• They can not do competitions for Hiravis such as art competitions and all contest for Hiravis must end before the week is up.
• Please do not make baby Hiravis or adoption.
• Keep the designs semi-simple (not overly complex or any thing)
• All Hiravis genders must be picked before they are put up for adoption - we have separate lines for males and females.
• I'd prefer you didn't do two coloured eyes as these are a bit rare.
• Please no five minute designs - take your time and make them look nice.
