Pebblestep stretched open his sea green eyes wearily, blinking them to ajust them from the streak of light flooding through the den. Great, I slept in he realizes, seeing as not many warriors were still sleeping. "I should probably take Lightningpaw out to train or hunt," he mubles to himself. He gets up and stretches before trotting out of the den and over to the apprentices den. He pokes his head in the den. "Lightningpaw?"

Gingerstar kicked dirt over the mouse gently so she would be able to collect it later. She looked over at Bluesky and Icepaw and meowed, "What do you two have?"

"A vole," Bluesky meowed, her voice muffled through the fur.

Gingerstar was aware that a familiar gaze was watching her but she remained keeping her gaze on Icepaw and Bluesky, waiting for an answer. Gingerstar looked at Bluesky and meowed, "Good. Keep hunting." She flashed a quick smile before padding off into the bushes.

Blackshadow looked up as he heard a faint rustling in the bushes, and he felt a small smile tug at the corner of his lips as the familiar scent of Gingerstar drifted up his nostrils. He padded forward to meet her, waving his tail in greeting. "There's that pretty face," he teased her, though in his mind he meant it.

"Only the squirrel." Icepaw said. "I'll hunt some more." She ran off to a rabbit hole, smelling for any signs of prey.
