Icepaw stood close to Bluesky like Gingerstar said. "Could I go over there and hunt?" She meowed, and nodded to a big tree where some nuts were scattered around.

Gingerstar looked down at Icepaw and meowed, "Sure. Just make sure you don't get left behind."

Icepaw nodded then walked quietly to the tree. She sniffed around, until she found a squirrel nibbling on a nut, almost hidden. Icepaw got into the hunters crouch and stepped lightly in its direction. Then, she lept and grabbed it with her claws. Gotcha! She burried her prey in the soft soil.

Gingerstar looked at Icepaw and meowed, "Well done Icepaw. Keep this up and you'll be a warrior in no time."

Icepaw's eyes shined. "Thank you, Gingerstar!" She meowed.

Gingerstar purred and meowed, "You are very welcome Icepaw."

He nibbled on a squirrel. He wasn't very hungry for done reason. Maybe he was thinking of Gingerstar to much. He shrugged it off and continued to munch on his meal.

B L A C K S H A D O W

Blackshadow allowed his paws to sink into the dampened ground, his claws outstretched as he leapt forward towards the rabbit. It noticed him last second and darted forward, right out of his grasp, causing Blackshadow to stumble. He quickly regained his balance, darting after it with his tail streaming behind him and his muscles flexing. He tore up dirt as he ran, feeling the adrenaline of the wind blowing through his fur as he caught up to it. Every time his paw went forward, the rabbit moved out of reach, and he was so close he could feel its fur tickling his nose. He pounced, landing on its back and tumbling forward, then killing it swiftly with a bite to the neck.

B L U E S K Y

Bluesky looked up as she heard Gingerstar's familiar voice, and she pricked her ears, listening to her speak. "Of course, Gingerstar's." She answered, dipping her head respectfully to the clan leader before rising to her paws and padding out beside her apprentice. She watched as the two hunted, and she tilted her head back to scent the air. Mouse!

Gingerstar scented the mouse and crouched down. She caught sight of it and shifted her weight silently. She crawled forward for a moment before leaping into the air pouncing heavily on top of the mouse. She killed it with the force of her weight.
