The Crowned Caviler

The Crowned Caviler Elkrin, a name bestowed mainly for the stags of this species, are a very proud breed. They are so prestigious that one particular noble family in Alabaster City wears this Elkrins image as their family crest. These Elkrin were carefully bred and cared for to be the perfect image of poise and elegance. They have been trained to have an even gait when they walk so that they look just as regal as the nobles they carry. Only the males are ever ridden in public however, the females are only used for breeding, but are regarded and cared for just as highly as the stags. A Cavalier stag's antlers are it's most prominent trait since they curve and twist into the image of a crown. They come in a variety of colors and are more likely to produce Royals due to their carefully selected genes. This stag is the image of strength and nobility, but he has just reached maturity and his antlers have just barely begun to form a crown. The nobles who bear his crest have offered to give him to a Rider, for what better honor is there for a noble than to have his Elkrin bear one of the Riders of old? Though their actions may not be for the best of reasons their intentions are good. Will you become this Elkrin's new Rider?

Viva is very loyal,much more loyal than some of my other pets.My albino horse,Riku,is very specail to me,but Viva doesnt mind.When Im not riding on his back,he trots alongside me why Im riding on Riku.

Viva is also very brave,willing to stand up for me when others wont.When protecting me,he will rear back and strike the ground with his hooves.If that doesnt drive the attacker away,he will charge at them.

: Strong :
Viva is extremly strong.He can knock down a tree in two or three charges.He can also carry up to three people on his back,and run while he is carrying them.

: Smart :
Being very smart,Viva can outwit anything.Even me,a steampunck spellcaster who served in a war,can be outwitted by him.Though,he isnt very smart when it comes to whiping your feet(hooves) before you come in the house.

: Silly :
Viva is silly sometimes.Because of his horns,he cant fit through some doorways,causing him to break the doorframe.He also tries to jump over large trees that fall down in storms,causeing him to get his horns stuck in the ground after he whipes out.

He may still be young,but he was raised to be serious.Though he is still fun loving,he often does things that show that he is serious.When someone is messing around and doing something dangerous,Viva will walk up behind them and lightly tap their head with his hoof.

Bubo

This is Latin for "Horned Owl". The Royalty that owned this Elkrin bore a crest of the Great Horned owl suspended in flight. They adored owls, thought they were noble and wise looking, just like themselves. They selected the best geneticists in all of Eldamore, and made sure that their baby Cavalier would have all the best traits of an Owl Bearer. So when they found out that the fawn was going to be a boy, they were delighted. He could use his magnificent horns for owl perches! They named the fawn Bubo, the scientific name for a horned owl, and made him grow up with a companion owl, named Athens (The greek godess of knowledge, who also had a pet owl), and they have been inseperable ever since

This is a given, as Cavaliers are natrualy very noble. Bubo walks around the cottage with Athena on his antlers, acting like he's the king of the world. His noble roots only fuel this trait, making him the noblest living thing in my cottage.

The bravest of the brave, Bubo will defend anything that he holds close to his heart. He will charge anyone that comes in harms way of his companions. He will even walk through Bone Eater Forest alone, and not even jump or bleat at the sight of a spooky little Bone Eater.

Since he is fairly young, Bubo is a bit immature. He will attempt to pull pranks on the beings living in my cottage, but they usually just blow up in his face. The one thing he looks forward to about maturity the most are his elegant horn, he was very excited when he found out that they would be growing in soon!

Beneficent
Even though Bubo might act tough, he would never hurt a fly if it wasn't doing anything. HE cares for the young and helpless orphaned animals that live in the forest by my cottage, and cares for me when I'm sad or sick (Well, as much as he can). If he wasn't a destined Cavalier, I think he'd actually choose the path of being a nurse.

Bubo is... in a nice way enthusiastic. He is always excited about anything we do, just for the reason of being able to try something new. He adds to his 'resume' every day by just exploring the wonders in his own backyard, the village, and beyond.

Impertinent
For his age, Bubo is a very smart Elkrin. From his lessons with the Royals, he knows everything about Eldamorian government, enviroment, issues, ect. Having smarts is one thing though, but useing them is another thing, and Bubo constantly makes careless mistakes because he is too lazy to use his knowlage to figure things out.

A name of unknown meaning, but a good name nonetheless

Personality:

Recalcitrant - Disobedient and headstrong, this Elkrin doesn't take well to authority. No one rides Răzvan - they just hang on tight and hope he takes them in the direction they want to travel.

Aloof - Most Elkrin are loyal creatures dedicated to their one and only Rider. Not Răzvan. Unlike his namesake - the noble cavalier dedicated to his lord and lady, Răzvan is rather uninterested in making friends or paying attention to what others have to say, or anything other then - well, himself.

Quixotic - Being young and impetuous, Răzvan fancies himself a gallant and dashing hero. In reality he is a great big coward, but he can't let anyone know that. So! let us charge terrifying Drakes and launch ourselves off of cliffs without thinking, and pray that fate will smile on us!

Candid - Răzvan is a straight shooter, unafraid to speak his mind even when no one wants to hear it. He doesn't beat around the bush, but always goes straight to the heart of the matter. If a problem arises that he can fix, he does it, even if it means stepping on a few toes or bruising a few egos in the process.

Coltish - Răzvan acts somewhat immature for his age. He is very playful, silly and often times lazy. He'd much rather be flirting with does, or swiping blackberry cobblers off of window sills, or fighting mock dragons, or snoozing or anything other then working.

Honorable - Until now I've described most of Răzvan's less then desirable traits, but the one trait that balances all his flaws is his honor. True, it is an honor stained with stolen blackberries, and some broken toes, but Răzvan, perhaps because of his upbringing, is very dedicated to the idea of honor. After all, what use are rules if one can't bend a few of them every now and again?

"Clouds will shroud our Vision..."

Zephyr as he goes by, is like clouds above our heads. No, he isn't cute and fluffy, he is a mystery. Clouds can come in different shapes and sizes, and you can never know if it will end up being a mist, a storm cloud, or even by what speed the wind will take it. Zephyr is just that, being shrouded by mystery and forever drifting with the wind.

"Vast and Wild are traits of the Sky..."

Despite his mysterious side, Zephyr is full of imagination and ideals. He comes up with different plans for anything. He has a habit of planning out his day as well. But like the sky, he is vast and far from picky about anything. Not to say that he's careless about things, nor is he indecisive, but he's more accepting to things.

"The hidden Mist that hides the Details..."

Zephyr is known to be as mysterious as clouds, but that's only because he can mask himself easily like a fog. Thanks to his cloaking abilities, Zephyr comes off as emotionless yet very calm, one could even notice a murkiness in his forestry eyes. But it's far from intimidating, in fact it's more appealing and rather enticing.

"Sometimes, Clouds can Darken and shed their Tears..."

Rain clouds and rain can either be depressing or a sign that life will further grow. Zephyr holds both of these traits, holding a sad past that he hides, as well as being one close to nature, believing the growth of the natural world is all he can do to help. He does his best to preserve nature any anyway he can.

"The Storm is frightful, but Majestic..."

One thing that the Elkrin doesn't take a liking to is his friends or nature being in danger. While normally, Zephyr is calm and peaceful, but if it comes down to the jeopardy of those he loves, he becomes fierce and dangerous like a lightning bolt. A guardian at heart, he is ready to kill anybody, and he will do it as cleanly and quickly as possible.

"After the Storm ceases, the Sun will come to Shine..."

Behind the mist and clouds lies a beautiful and happy side of Zephyr that literally brings the calm Elkrin to life. He's afraid of showing it, but when he's been assured that others can be trusted, he will show a bright and passionate side, and will do things such as be more active, talk more, and his smiles will be bigger and brighter, as if he was a fawn again.
