Ahzenai you're wooing: Naletha
I grinned up at the cave once we entered, my eyes glowing with happiness once I saw the area I had visited so long ago. Memories of getting my first partner swarmed my mind as I set a hand on Ohiel's head, who let out an excited purr before glancing around, tail wagging with contently as he seemed to wiggle. I could tell he was itching to run around, exploring everything to check if things had changed. "Calm yourself, Ohiel. We'll reach the Vortex soon enough." I murmured, grinning down at his bright green eyes, who seemed to narrow as a voice spoke up. "We both know the boy will never do such thing, Ivory.. He never stops moving around like a squirrel having a panick attack.."
I chuckled at the words of my second companion, Norsk. Both my boys never seemed to get along, but I wasn't one to mind. They both agreed that traveling around with me was very enjoyable. "At least I'm not grumpy all the time, and boring, like you." Ohiel snorted in reply, bouncing ahead of us until I could no longer see him. Norsk let out a sigh, traveling behind me at a distance, though still allowing me to see him. Norsk never talked much, and didn't interact with me all the time, though he was still a wonderful traveling partner, and we both knew we'd risk our lives for eachother in a heartbeat.
I turned my attention to the group's newest member, Boria. She was still shy and timid around things, but I had high hopes for her. "They will never stop at this nonsense, will they?" She questioned softly, staring up at me with gentle eyes. I grinned down at her compassionatly. "No, probably not. But I enjoy their nonsense sometimes."
I frowned as I noticed something in the distance, running towards us at a very quick speed. It didn't take me long to realize it was Ohiel with a worried expression on his face. My stomach churned at seeing him like this, and both the Ahzenai's beside my stiffened. "Ohiel, what's wrong?" I questioned, looking down at him in great concerned as he tried to catch his breath. "The Vortex; come!" He spit out before turning and running back the way he came. I frowned at the lack of detail, but soon me, Boria, and Norsk where racing after him. Please don't let something terrible be happening..
My heart raced as I saw Ohiel in the distance, and I gasped once I saw what he was looking at. It was the Vortex for sure. I had never seen it act in such a crazed way, and didn't know what this meant at all. "Have you guys ever expieranced this?" I questioned, kneeling down and pulling them close beside me. Even Norsk's tail was gently brushing my side, his eyes narrowed into cat-like slits.
I watched in amazement as the Vortex let out two Ahzenai's at the same time, quickly followed by another. Boria shivered at my side, and Norsk let out a growl. Sang didn't look like he'd be a good member of the team, and I could tell my partner's didn't trust him either. Persica was lovely, but she looked shy, and with Boria, I didn't feel that I should take in another shy girl at the moment. That's when I noticed Naletha, and it seems that Norsk noticed her too. I chuckled at the twinkle in his eyes when he saw her, but decided not to bring the topic up.
I watched how she stood, protectively watching over Persica and guarding her from Sang. She looked strong, with a brave heart and a compassionate soul. I knew at that moment that I really wanted her on my team, she'd be a good traveling companion. Turning to my current friends, I let a quiet whisper escape me. "I think it would be nice to talk with Naletha, what do you all think?" I questioned, looking at them. Boria shyly looked at the ground, while Ohiel was still trying to catch his breath. Norsk looked hopeful, but then let his regular, cold look mask over his features.
