They normally sleep lying down, and it's pretty hard for them to sleep upside down since they have paws. But if one could find a way to do it, they probably would XD

Questions: Are they nocturnal in the wild and, exactly how smart are they ?

They are diurnal (bats can actually see in daylight, they only fly at night to avoid hawks). They are about as smart as a border collie, but with more developed emotions. And there are some smarter and some dumber too ^^
