Teacup Dragons
Welcome
Welcome
News: This adoptable species is now going to be sort of exclusive. There will only be dragons once in a while (aka when I have the time and the energy to make them). There will be no limit as to how many you are allowed to own but there won't be any breeding (for now atleast). I am just going to be making dragons, if any of you guys feel like staring events or different forums, roleplays or just about anything else on this site about these dragons or mentioning them or anything you are free to do so. You don't have to message me about making them but if you do I will put a link to it on this page.
I also want you all to know that I am truly flattered by all of you who are still stumbling on to these adoptables and commenting on them despite of me being a jerk and neglecting themIt really warms to know that people appreciate them, thank you all, I really don't deserve it

About the species:
If you tread carefully, watching closely, you might be lucky to catch a glimpse of these shy dragons. They can be found all over the world in various terrain as long as there is plant life to be seen. The biggest groups are usually found in flower patches and meadows, however these tiny critters can also be found high up in the trees or in forests, deserts and even mountains and tundras. They are well adapted to the world around them and the most striking thing about them is their amazing camoflauge. They usually have a green or brown main body colour with strikingly vibrant colours on the insides of their wings or stomach and face, which often reflects the flowers they usually hide in. Teacup dragons also have what looks like flowers growing on their bodies. These flowers are infact mutated scales and skin however they offer great protection when hiding amongst the flowers. Almost all ground living Teacup Dragons have a green tail which stands up when they are hiding, the tree living ones have brown tails that they wrap around the branches when hiding.
Teacup Dragons size range from as small as fitting in the palm of a hand to being around as big as a basketball. They are however usually compared to the size of teacups, hence the name Teacup Dragons.
There are currently three different "branches" of Teacup Dragons known: flower/plant/tree Teacup Dragons, fungi Teacup Dragons and aquatic Teacup Dragons.
Flower/plant/tree Teacup Dragons are the most common species. Fungi and aquatic Teacup Dragons are rarer and are almost allways born without wings. Aquatic Teacup Dragons also have webbed toes to give them better control underwater.

Breeding
When trying to impress a potential mate the males raise their wings high up in the air to show of their coloufull feathers aswell as showing of their floral scales.
Teacup Dragon eggs are small and usually speckled and resembles small rocks or pebbles. A female Teacup Dragon only lay one or two eggs with each "litter" and each "cub" inherits one of the parents floral camoflauge (there are no mixed flowers).
Teacup Dragons grow up slowly for being so small and they do not learn to fly untill they are around 1 year old. That is also when they are technically considered teens. The teens are alot more like the grown ups except the fact that they have not fully developed their flower scales. They are also a lot less cautious than their parents and still need to be taken care of by their parents.
Teacup Dragons leave the nest when they are about 3 years old when they are old enough to start searching for a partner of their own.
Most Teacup Dragons mate for life, however this is not allways the case.
Each dragon will have a total of 4 breedings each. To breed you dragon you will have to fill in the form below.
Both dragons don't have to be yours, but one has to. You can breed with another user if you both agrees on it.
