Egypt- Buttermilk Buckskin

Postby ~Trompy » Sat Feb 09, 2013 5:48 pm

I judged early due to the excitement for Britain.

One thing you like about Egypt and Why: My mother lived in Egypt briefly, and she always used to tell me how the modernization of technology mixed with the great history this ancient country has. Buses driving underneath the pyramids. Camels alongside motorcycles. French spoken alongside Egyptian Arabic. A civilization that grew out of the sand, to become a powerhouse of the world, with a complex mythology, great dynasties, and amazing monuments. I guess what I like about Egypt is how long it lasts, despite all the harsh things that happen to it.

To win this boy, you need to tell me one thing you like about the real country of Egypt and why. All entries up to and on page 2 will count, so no spamming.

Country: Egypt
Age: 10,000 years
Name: Silent Beauty.
One thing you like about Egypt and Why: I have always been fascinated with ancient Egyptian myths, which tell stories about gods and hero's. But I specifically love the monuments, especially the Great Pyramids of Egypt, and Hatshepsuts temple.

I am about a week off from being 6 months. Can I still adopt?

One thing you like about Egypt and Why: His palamino coat. I work with horses daily, so I naturally see different horses every day. But one coat that the farm doesn't have, is a palamino, though I absolutely adore them. So when I find Egypt, I fall in love. I would love him, because I love his country too!

I meant the ACTUAL Egypt XD sorry, I will clear that up and allow an edit if you wish :)

Country: Egypt
Age: 10,000 years
Name: Iah -egyptian for moon
One thing you like about Egypt and Why: I love the names, the culture and the religion. I've always been interested in different cultures and their divinities. I took mythology classes in school with no other benefit other than to learn from their cultures to better my writing . Of course, I am referring to ancient Egypt. The ancients always are the best, aren't they?

(not sure if we can try for more than one, I've read the rules four times xD. This one is gorgeous as well. Kudos. They are all very well done.)

Country: Egypt
Age: 10,000 years
Name: Tutankhamen (named after the Egyptian boy king)
One thing you like about Egypt and Why: I think Egyptian gods, goddesses, and mythology would be my favorite. I love these things because I believe the stories that come with are interesting and they are so descriptive that make me feel like I am in the story itself.
