To make this clear, on the size chart, it says "name = example", does that mean they are called that?

It's their size type... I really should edit the main KD so artists can add their size type... but for now that isn't being used.
The 'name=example' part is their size name. Rather than saying large cat sized, it will say 'shoebox'
I'm not sure if that cleared it up, it's rather difficult to explain but I'll go add the size chart into the main KD page later.
