A Creature of the Shadows

A creature born of dark magic and who only presides in the shadows, the Shadowmancer Elkrin only accept a rider whose spirit is as dark as it's own. They feast on the moons light and eat her silver rays, causing darkness to creep across the land and giving this Elkrin and it's rider more power, as they ride into the night with the shadows following hungrily in their wake. This creature is only doing what is in it's nature and can never be swayed to good. It is of the darkness and so it will remain in the darkness, but the rider it claims shall also be one who covets power and is at one with the night. Anyone who knows dark magic can summon the Shadowmancer Elkrin, they are not subjected to extinction like the others of their kind and thrive in the shadows. But even though it can be summoned at will it can never be tamed as easily and will often drag the one whom summons it into the darkness if it does not deem you fit to be it's rider. Be weary if you call the Shadowmancer to be your stead, this Elkrin only goes where it wishes to and if you do somehow become it's Rider you best be ready to let this mount lead.

Erebus thinks quite highly of himself, and he belives that he is the best of the best. He places himself very highly, and tries to always be #1.

Erebus only speaks to those that he knows very well, and even then, unless it's his rider of course, he barely even says a sentence. He just thinks loudly (most of it is filled with... well, you don't want to know; Let's just say he has a twisted, twisted mind)

Erebus is the master of evil plans. Some of them are not very pretty. He can pretty much steal anything with that plotting mind of his.

Erebus is rude to everyone. 'Nuff said. There is no such thing as polite in his dictionary.

Erebus isn't the one to let a topic drop very easily, if you wrong him, you'll regret it. You can run and hide, but Erebus can just find you wherever you are. Beware to the foolish folk!

Cold - Unforgiving - Distrustful - Stubborn - Mysterious
Erebus is quite cold, not caring much for others. It doesn't exactly matter to him if you've been hurt, inside or outside. He also barely shows that he has a heart, and has a dark spirit. Erebus is unforgiving. He could never forgive you if you've done something to him. With his rider, he makes an exception. Erebus is distrustful, too. He finds it hard to trust anybody, sometimes even his rider. Now he trusts her, but he still finds it complicated. Erebus is stubborn as well. He does his own thing as he pleases, barely listening to anyone else. Erebus is quite the mysterious Elkrin. He seems to have an ominous feel when you're around him, and he always has this glare in his eyes that makes you wonder.

Independent.
There's nothing this stag doesn't dislike more than having to ask for help. He can do things on his own, and will fight to do so. This also means rejecting help even when its dearly needed.

Proud.
This elkrin is proud to be who he is, proud of what he can do. He is proud to be what he is, and just because someone else may think he is dangerous, or dark, or scary, he will not change.

Trustworthy.

Believe it or not, there's not many others who are better to trust with your life. Although its not often and highly unlikely, when Osiris makes a promise, or says he will so something, he will uphold his word. Almost nothing can stop him, but don't expect this treatment.

Ambitious.

When this elkrin sets his mind to something, there's about three things that can stop him: hunger, thirst, and fatigue. He works and works until he achieves what he wanted, and does not stop until he does. It may make him frusturated, it might get him in trouble, but he won't give up.

Cynical

Sharp tongued and quick to point blame, Osiris thinks that anyone doing something nice is only doing it for their own good. He drives people away in questioning their motives- they just only being nice to him to benefit themselves, right?

For power, for wealth and the moon's rays. Keari always seems to be needing something and is constantly on the move, looking for new items to possess.

By his need to move on. Every time a strong wind blows from the North he feels the need to run, and will not stop until his rider is packed up and ready to leave.

Distrusting-
Of everything. He barely trusts his rider, and that's saying something. He has a deep, intense dislike of other creatures and is very possessive of his rider.

Righteous-
In his own mind. He believes he's doing the world a favor by letting his darkness rule.

Intrigued-
By the small children that seem to populate every town he visits. How does it feel to be the creator, not the destroyer? To love something other than yourself?
