A quick note: I don't think I gave my real birthday to this site, but I'm not sure. I turned 16 on January 1st (yes, my birthday is on New Years, and it's not as great as you probably think) and from my age you can tell what year I was born in. I may have put my actual age in there, a completely different age, or I might have even put the year and a different date because those are the kind of things I did back in the time when I joined. I used to not trust websites with any personal information about me, but I now know that it wouldn't matter here on Chicken Smoothie, though I didn't know that back then. I know that you may not believe me about this, but I figured it was worth it to tell you, even if you think I'm lying to just be able to try out or something else along those lines. It's the truth, but I know that I posted in here I joined that I was younger than I am, which was a mistake. I understand if you still feel that it's necessary to disqualify me, because it does sound kind of suspicious for me to turn sixteen just a few days before you were accepting applicants for roleplay moderators that had to be over sixteen, so the choice is yours of whether or not to believe me, and I'm sorry if I am just wasting your time with this. Thank you, and on to my form.
1.What date did you register as a CS member?: (if it's less than 6 months ago, do not apply)I registered for Chicken Smoothie on Monday, April 25th of 2011 at exactly 4:15 PM. That makes my account well over a year old.
2.How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): (if it's less than 300, do not apply)4598 posts currently, if you don't include this post.
3.How many days a week do you usually visit CS, and how many hours do you usually spend per day?I am on Chicken Smoothie seven days a week unless something big has come up, and most days I'm on for many hours. On weekdays I get off school at 3:15 (I go to school really early in the morning), so I'm usually on from 3:30 to around 7:00 - 8:00, sometimes 9:00. The teachers at my school mostly don't give too much homework, or at least my teachers don't. But when I do have a lot of homework I usually get on the computer at about 4:00. On the weekends however, it matters when I wake up because I wake up then go straight on the computer. I'm then usually online from then to dinner with very small breaks in between. I practice my clarinet in the morning, so that almost never bothers how long I'm on.
4.Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to themI have moderated on other forums before. Most were made by me and my friends, with
http://warriors4clanrp.webs.com being probably my favorite. (I'm Teareh on that site.)
5.Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there are any places in particular, please link to them.Of course I have participated in off-site roleplays. The main websites I usually roleplay on besides Chicken Smoothie are probably
http://forums.warriorcats.com which is the official Warriors website. There's also
http://warriorslife.forumotion.com and many others, usually smaller sites. But I also roleplay on other sites that are mainly about adopting pets, such as
http://mweor.com ,
http://creaturebreeder.com and others such as those.
6.Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?I have participated on too many roleplays to count. Because I like to join seed roleplays (what I call roleplays that have just started and don't have very many people in them) a lot of them have become unactive, which is a real shame. But others are going strong, which is good for everyone. I mostly roleplay in animal roleplays, but I play in human roleplays too, it's just hard to find a good human roleplay to play in. I'm also part of a PM roleplay, where I'm roleplaying with someone through private messages.
7.Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?I wish to be a roleplay moderator here on Chicken Smoothie because I have seen many people doing unacceptable things in roleplays, and I have always wanted to be able to truly do something about it, instead of just clicking the report button and waiting for the moderators to deal with it. I also want to be able to help the people on here, because I truly care about this site and the people on it. The moderators are doing a great job keeping people safe on here, and I would like nothing better than to help them do that, because honestly it seems like a big job, though I know I'm up for it. I don't usually get too much homework, and the rest of my life has settled down for the most part. Even if it gets churned up again like the crashing waves in an ocean storm I would be here to help the people of cs, and that is a promise I give to you.
8.Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for examplehave you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?):I have run many websites before that have been based off of roleplay. For example
http://warriors4clanrp.webs.com even though that site is pretty old and kind of dying. I was very strict on that website, as I'm sure my friends could assure. I have hosted other websites, but none are very good and none have more than two or so members, and those are all my friends in real life. My closest friend has made a few sites too that she made me an admin of. Those are all also roleplay websites, except for one that was a clickable adoptables site. Some skills I believe I may be able to bring to the table are that I have witnessed many people doing unacceptable things on roleplays here and I believe that as one of the people in the roleplays where that has been happening (don't worry, I never did any of the rule-breaking) I have a familiarity with communicating with those kinds of people. One of my closest friends is that kind of person, and she says that I 'speak their language.' I'm not sure why I brought that up, as I'm not sure if it's a complement, but it may help sometime. I have also had to deal with people in real life that were very frustrating and teasing, and I have fixed myself, in a way, to be calm and patient with them, instead of blowing my top like I did when I was young and not very mature. I know when it's necessary to interject and when to take extreme measures. Whenever someone teases or looks for a fight with me I can keep a level head and I won't get angry. I may get angry for a moment inside, but I won't let it affect me or my behavior.
