The Flickering Vales

The Silvervale Elkrin used to number in the hundreds of thousands long ago. But now this once plentiful breed is only ever spoken of in tales or song. They used to roam the moors of the Celtlands before one by one they mysteriously disappeared. Those who live in those lands say that the silver mists took the creatures away, envious of their beautiful markings and misty coats, the thick mist from the moors rode in like a cloudy wave over the herds and the Silvervale Elkrins were no more. Of course this is only but a song that the locals sing, however, with every tale rings a grain of truth, and the mists from the Celtlands are known for their mysterious nature. Word has reached your ears of a fleeting figure in the fog, a lean creature with silver fur that shines and flickers under the moonlight, forever running from the thick mists that chase after it endlessly. This stag may just be a trick of the eye but if it is not then it may be one of the few Silvervale Elkrins left and we must not let the songs come true. Search out this figure and help this Elkrin, perhaps it may even accept you as it's rider?

I do plan on entering, but want to double-check quickly here: since I read that we should make sure that our forms are "just so", I'm to assume that you would prefer only ONE source of creative art, such as a drawing or poem? I'll edit this with my form once I make certain that I'm not breaking rules.

Forms vary between me and Jen, you may add a stories, poems, or art with me as long as you keep the stories length within reason. ^^
