First Bat Dragon ^^

Blizzard flapped her large wings uncofortiably beside a large pine tree trying to warm herself. It was terribly cold out and she wasn't used to it. Fall was quickly setting in and chilling the air. Blitz thought longingly of the warm stable the humans kept BatDragons in. She had had a nice warm stall with plenty of food and warm, sweet hay to keep her cozy. Shuddering, she shook the thought from her mind. She was wild now. She had to survive on her own.

Slowly, she spread her wings that were tight with cold and flapped hard. The ground jumped away as she took flight. She flapped calmly and steadily towards where ocean and the mountaians met. Her mind wandered back to the previous day.

She had been playing with the other young BDs around her age in a small clearing in the woods. She pricked her ears as a shrill whistle of a human summoned her. She obediantly trotted towards the sound to serve whoever had called her. She saw up ahead a small and shrivled man. Blizzard reeled away from him nearly falling flat on her back. The man stank strongly of blood. He reached forward a knobby hand without looking at her. His hand began to glow strangly and Blitz felt captivated by the odd red light. She smoothily pulled herself the her feet in one fluid movement and glided the rest of the distance to the man. He sat on her back and she didn't feel any objection at all. His hands still glowed red as they ruffled through her neck fur. She heard the clean sound of a blade coming out of its sheath. The man held her fur away from her neck and aimed his knife.

What happeded next was all a blur. The man's consentration broke and his trance lifted form Blitz and she squealed in panic. The knife came down quickly. Red. Blizzard opened her eyes slowly to see the man's body bleedeing and dead in front of her. She swung her neck around frantically the see who had killed the man. At the edge of the trees a young man with brown hair smiled at Blizzard and ran off. Still stunned, she stared at where the man had vanished untill the townspeople found her standing over the dead body covered in blood.

Blizzard winced in midflight. It had loked like she killed that man. The village had thrown her out and now.... She staitened. That was the past. That didn't matter anymore. She was going to make a new life fpr herself. The night seemed to envolp her as the moon set over the waters.
