Emerald padded out from her nest. "Yes, I am Emerald. You may speak to me."

At the lab....Saphire (Saph for short) sighed. she missed her mother and father, whos white fur was never seen again after he died from a horrific expieriment. She had spent the last three months trying to escape, and she had a plan. She splipped out from the cage. The door to the outside was always kept shut, but it was cold tonight and he kept it open. Wierd, right? Saphire crawled outside. It was so wonderful! But she didnt have time to waste. She headed out in the direction that her mother went when she escaped. She would find her. Saphire would not give up!

[Umbrakinesis]

"Greetings, Emerald. I'm Dawn. I just escaped from that lab, and I was looking for somewhere to spend the night, maybe even live." Said Dawn, nervously shifting her paws, and trying to listen and think of air ducts at the same time.

"Of course you can stay the night here Dawn! We always welcome new-comers. Umm...by the way...did you know a Rat nemed Saphire? She was white with blue paws, tail, nose and eyes."

Ruby washed her face again and looked around then looked at jasper and squeaked quickly to him "don't back talk to others please"
Jasper whined "but it's fun"
