(ok) "Hi Ruby. Hi Jasper." Emerald said as they walked by. "How are you?"

Jasper slept soundly beside his mother
Ruby looked up at Emerald and squeaked "hello, were doing good, yourself?" then she looked down at jasper and nudged him a little

Emerald sighed. "Im doing fine... I just wish that that stoopid scientist was dead. He TORTURES us!"

Ruby nodded in agreement then licked her paws and dragged it over her face a few times

"How is Jasper?" Emerald looked out at the street and wondered if they would be getting any more runaway rats soon.

Ruby looked at emerald and squeaked "lemme see" then she nudged jasper some more
Jasper woke up startled and squeaked "What happened now?"

Emerald chuckled and remembered Her own daughter, who was still in that cursed lab...

Jasper licked his mouth and asked "why was i awaken?"
Ruby squeaked "because" and licked her sons head a few times

Ruby watched then asked "any new rats come around yet?"
