Name You'd Choose for It: Roteka (said Row-teh-ka)
Gender:male
Reason You Want It: Because this desighn is simple an well thought out, I would appreciate this character alot and I wish to write a long story about him.
History/Background/Other:
Hello, I am Roteka, but you can call me Roty (Ro-tee) for short.
I was born in the middle of a thunder storm, a common sight in Africa. The air was humid and all I remember was desperatley sucking it in and jumping when ever thunder cracked. My mother said not to be scared, of course a younge cub like me could not deny ones instincts. I was horrorfied and when the storm was finally over I did not open my eyes until I could see the light burning through my eyelids. When I looked up I saw a grey shaggy face with a small red spot right in the middle. "Meep?" I said pathetically staring at this new being. My mother laughed then gentally picked me up in her muzzle, heading for a secret cave where we slept the night.

One day I woke in a bad mood, my mother had woken me up very early. "What do you want?" I said stubbornly, glaring up at her. She replied "Today I think its about time I went back to the pride and introduces you!" I was not amused. For a start I did not like early mornings, secondly this was my home, not this "pride" thing and I also could not be bothered interacting with anything today.
~
Despite my whining my mother lead me away from the den. "What a pride?" I said rudely, hoping she would get cross at me and take me back to the den. "A pride is a large group of lions, like us." she murmured, keeping an annoyingly calm tone. "I don't want others!" I growled, poking my tongue out. This was the start of my need to be alone every once in a while, but now, continuing on.....
~
Later that after noon my I got shoved down in the grass. "Wait here" my mother ordered. "Yes master" I said impatiently, slumping down tiredly.
~
Minutes later a huge, fierce, scarred and twisted lion came marching up to me. I cowered in fear. At had a feeling this lion was boss. He was brown and had a dark brown tail and mane. I wimpered and fled, tripping on my own paws. "This is your father." My mother smiled, catching me playfully and rolling me over. I gazed up at this new being in my life. Well that explained my brown coat, not that I knew about inheriting colours at that time.
~
It took me well over an hour to settle myself into this "pride," not only was my father scary but there were millions, no BILLIONS of lions here. I felt unsettled but I did not complain.
~
A month after coming to the pride and I was buisy training. My father was nice, if not a bit of a show off. He tried to make me happy by joking but I laughed more at how cheesy the jokes were than the actual idea of the joke. I loved to watch the lionesses hunt zebra. I wondered what my rank in the pride would be when I grew up. Many weeks passed like this and I grew stronger and faster.
~
When I was finally fully grown I became a loner, trying to seperate myself at all costs. No one liked me and I only liked three lions in the whole pride. They were my mothe, my father and a lioness, admittedly she was a bit older than me but I liked her all the same. She was so beautiful. I have never loved anyone else in my life and probably never will. I am still alone in my den on the outskirts of camp, dreading my fathers retirement. I do hope I don't become king!
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
The lioness I want to be his mate is in the adoptions and I can only go for another after winning/loosing this round so if I win him I will finish his story as either taking her as a mate (if I win her aswell) or moving the story in another direction
