I was really sad that they cut Grantaire's verse of Drink With Me. I really love the actor who played him, George Blagden, and I wanted to get to see him more. :P

So, while watching the movie, I kept squealing because I kept spotting guys from the 25th in the movie as extras. Apparently Hadley Fraser, who played Grantaire in the 25th, was the Army Commander who ordered the attack on the Barricades. I loved all of the little memories like that.

How you became a fan: My mom is obsessed with it lol personally, I like the book a lot more but the show is good too. I'm a huge Broadway junkie (have a group devoted to Broadway characters ranging from Patricia Quinn's Magenta from Rocky Horror to Christine Daae from Phantom :))

How you became a fan: My mum and dad did the musical. I also saw my friend play Gavroche in a high school production. Les Mis is AMAZING! I have the soundtrack on my iPod XD

A bit delayed but...
I've already seen the movie three times, and since I haven't listened to any Broadway or Westend recording in two months all the singers sounded pretty good to me. Then I watched TAC and 25th AC before seeing it a second time...
I LOVED Anne Hathaway's Fantine, she gave one of the best performances in the movie. Surprisingly, I actually didn't hate Marius and Cosette (I like their book incarnations but most musical versions just...eh).
Samantha Barks and Aaron Tveit stood out to me among the secondary characters, really wished the barricade boys would've been featured more. HATED the cuts to Drink With Me, and was a bit crushed when Grantaire didn't get to say 'do you permit it?' before they were shot...
Colm Wilkinson as Bishop Myriel was wonderful! Missed Eponine in the epilogue but only after the fact.
Can't really think of what else to add right now other than that my community theatre announced auditions for Les MIs :D

even though I was not exactly accepted yet, I'd love to talk to anyone on about Les Mis. I'm a bit obsessive.

We always like new fans!
I just joined my school's speech team in dramatic interpretation and I'm giving my speech on Les Mis. Specifically the chapter A Rose in Misery for those who have read the Brick.
