Indeed, but it's not an impossible task to make a "dress up" thingy (or whatever we should call it). Surely I for one haven't bothered with trying to understand entirely how it's done (I only tried it in school three years ago when I had lessons where we used Flash), but I know two different ways that could work to pull it off. One where you can drag and place seperate pictures onto a "base" (similar to how we have it here on CS with the items) and one where you yourself can colour a picture to your own liking. Though, there's probably other ways to be able to pull it off as well, but as I said, I haven't been interested enough in understanding in detail how it's done.Shiko Hayashi wrote:flyteck wrote:Will we have a "Bearer Page"? A human we can dress and customize to be our bearer, then add personalities and such? Just curious o3o
That's some pretty difficult coding Fly. I'm impressed there doing a site, as I know they can become increasingly complicated.
However, I agree. That would be cool. At the same time though, I think we should expect to just stick with drawing our references. For Bena and Jen's sake, no?
Unless, of course, they have something else in mind..?
And I think it's sad that the forms will be removed on the site once it's up and running (as many others already have stated; I really enjoy reading other's forms as well as I enjoy making them), but I understand that it would be impossible to keep them if the site ended up having thousands of members one day. But I can't really say that I'm nervous about it all, change is good and I really look forward to seeing everything that's in store for us once the site is finished.
I'll be there to support you, Bena and Jen, no matter what. I think it's amazing that you guys have decided to take the Runes this far. And I'll make sure to get a job for myself asap so I can support you not just by loving everything you do, but also by helping you keep it alive. (:
