An important announcement to everyone about the Rune Dragon Adoptables. Rune Dragons will be closed down permanently after the month of December. This is nothing new to us and we have been planning this for quite some time now in preparations for our own adoptables site centered entirely around the Runes. We will be finishing off the month and all Runes and lines will be retired. Although we will be recreating all the dragons we have made thus far, we will not recreate any of the Runes who were made by other artists or guest artist unless they give us permission to do so. Many of the designs will be reused but also made differently. This is something that me, my sister, and my fiance have been working on for a good few months now and have put forth both money and time into this project so that we could provide a site for you.

Many of our events shall still take place on the new site and you are allowed to keep your old Runes both here and on the new site in your signatures. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up since I do not wish to alarm anyone. Though we will be closed down permanently on CS, the fan-club shall remain open. I have already told many of you about this before and I am happy to say that it is soon to come to fruition. During January we will be working entirely on the new site and will provide you a link here once it is completed. We hope you look forward to this big event and hope you will join us on our new Rune Dragons site when it is completed. I know many of you will have questions but understand we are still working on all this for the time being so much is still to be determined. But we have come far enough to announce that the site is almost complete and ready for you to join within the next month or so.

-Second, if a Rune has already been adopted, will it's design be changed?
-Third, will they still be made using Oekiaki, or another program entirely?
-Fourth, will there still be breeding available?
-And finally, fifth, will Ancients still be made?

Oh, okay. Then, I guess I will no longer be a part of this, because my dad won't let me on any website other than this, and I doubt that my dad would ever let me join that. So, I wish you all the best of luck with the new site, but I am afraid I won't be joining. :(

We will be creating new Runes on the site.
We are basically just moving our adoptables to our own site where you can adopt them as your own.

-Yes, you get to keep your Runes that you adopted here and can use them in your signatures just like before. Nothing has changed there.
- We have rights over the designs we made and are allowed to recreate them for the new site. Though a few may seem similar to the old designs, we still want to make them unique so your Rune is still a one of a kind that was made here.
-No, with such a large scale me and my sister are using our graphic design degrees and working in CS5 photoshop to make better quality art.
- Breeding is a big thing to ask for when starting a new site. But we are just starting so we shall see though it may not be the same way it was done here.
-Of course! Ancients are very special and they will be the crown jewels of the new site. ^^

I'm very curious to know how the new site is going to be.

Is it going to be similar to here, where you apply for a rune via an application and are awarded or is it going to be something more similar to like... wajas (for lack of a better example)?

I assure you we will never be like wajas. We have it set up to where you adopt eggs which grow into hatchlings and then into adult runes. As for guest artists, I am sure there will be those we choose from time to time but it is still too early to decide on that. Certainly in the future though when we are more established.

I about had a heart attack when I learned that all the runes line where retiring I though I was going to lose Ra and shadow and my whole flock T.T

Oh thank the gods, because I just wouldn't know how to react if it was wajas-esque.

I'm going to echo Aviator's sentiment and hope that they're going to be unique, unlike here on CS.
