I actually saw this character up for adoption a while back and have regretted not trying for her ever since. Her coat patterning is absolutely gorgeous. I simply adore the color pink and Radiance captures the color in the best possible way. She's distinctly feminine, but fierce despite that. If I had the good fortune to adopt her, she would receive her own post on my character thread and be much loved. I'd most certainly order art of her from the artists on CS, but she'd also be the center of many pieces of my own art. I have a drawer reserved solely for my hundreds of doodles that I make and I may even be able to work her into a piece for art class.

Personality:
Radiance guards her true feelings jealously. She holds herself with pride and dignity and does her best to appear strong, immovable, unearthly. Behind her facade of strength, however, she hides doubt and insecurity about who she really is. Often times, Radiance will make things more difficult on herself in order to prove that she's able to hold her own. Only those whom she trusts without exception are able to slip past her carefully-crafted armor and see the true wolf hiding within.

History/Background:

Radiance opened her eyes to a harsh, blinding light. Her skull throbbed with a pounding like the hooves of deer in flight; her vision was blurry and unstable. "What's happening?", she thought, blinking to clear her eyes. She was laying crumpled in a wooded clearing, amongst towering pine trees and ferns. The sun streamed through the tree's boughs and reflected off the light dusting of snow that lay on the ground, producing the bright light that had blinded her before. A crisp chill permeated her coat.

Fighting nausea, Radiance fought to stand. The snow beneath her was churned and stained red with drops of blood. The pounding in her head doubled in intensity as she stood. She staggered and gripped the ground with her claws, hoping that the world would stop spinning soon. Once the pounding dimmed to a dull throb, Radiance surveyed her situation. Her coat was matted with burrs and twigs. The pads of her paws were torn and bloodied, suggesting a long journey over harsh terrain. A trickle of blood seeped into her left eye; her head was bleeding. Every portion of her body ached, from the tips of her ragged claws to the marrow of her bones. Radiance shuddered with exhaustion and resolved to find a warm place to sleep.

Though every step pained her, the wolf began her trek out of the clearing. Instinct told her that the scent of blood would draw predators to the site like a magnet, and the best thing she could do was distance herself from it. Radiance walked slowly through the woods, pausing every so often to scent the breeze for anyone following her. Eventually, she stumbled upon a creek, frozen by the frigid temperatures. Fortunately, the ice was thin and she was able to break it with solely her weight. She drank deeply, grateful that the water soothed her dry tongue.

Radiance continued her journey until the sun ducked behind the treetops. Darkness began to fall in the forest. Satisfied that she had put enough distance between her and the blood-stained clearing, she dug herself a shallow hollow between the roots of a tree, covered her nose with her tail, and slept.

~~~
The next morning, Radiance was startled awake by the crunch of snow beneath paws. Her turquoise eyes snapped open and her entire body prepared to leap into action. Between the roots of the next tree, a small white rabbit froze. It had not yet noticed her, but it was only a moment before it did. Radiance's stomach rumbled at the thought of tearing into fresh meat. With a roar, she jumped from her hollow and ran for the rabbit, jaws gaping. The terrified hare froze for a moment, eyes wide, then bolted, its wide paws sending up clods of snow as it bounded away. Radiance raced after it in hot pursuit.
The rabbit led Radiance on a wild chase. Her breath came in rapid pants, her muscles ached with exertion. But Radiance knew she could not afford to loose this prey; she would be too weak to catch anything else. As the desperate rabbit steered towards a hole nestled in the side of a snow-covered hill, she pounced, sending the rabbit skidding off to the side. It tired to correct its path, but it was too late. Radiance snapped up the rabbit by its neck and bit down with a decisively. She carried the limp form away from the hole, laid the carcass on the ground, and hungrily dug in.
After eating her fill, Radiance licked her chops and sat, wondering what she was going to do now. Her memories of what had happened before she awoke in the clearing were frustratingly dim. Only a few solid images remained: a kind hand that petted her back with quiet assurance, a collection of buildings squatting in the snow, and a sable-pelted wolf with wings like a bat. The memory of the other wolf filled her heart with unusual warmth. After struggling to recall anything else, Radiance concluded that the best way to reconstruct her patchy memory was to locate the dragon wolf.
Radiance struggled to her paws and padded off into the forest, determined to seek out her goal. Using the sun, she oriented herself to the east and began her journey. As she wandered through the forest, she encountered all types of wildlife. She relied on the occasional rabbit, vole, and small bird to sate her ravenous appetite. Once, she startled an elk foraging for food. She eyed it hungrily, but knew better than to try and take it down alone. She also spotted the dim outline of a bear in the distance, and steered well clear of it.
Over time, her wounds healed, though her fur still remained in disarray. Her stomach no longer pinched tight with hunger and her vision never wavered. Her muscles stretched long and lean beneath her coat, a testament to her strength and speed. However, her memories failed to return along with her vitality, a fact that frustrated Radiance immensely. Without knowing who she was or where she came from, she was severely handicapped. Thus, she was forced to random aimlessly until she found a clue as to her destination.
On her seventh day of travel, Radiance spotted a snow covered hut in the distance. It was nestled snuggly in the foothills of the mountains on which she traveled, the smoke curling from its chimney just a smudge in the distance. Radiance marched towards it with renewed vigor. "Perhaps I'll find a clue to my identity here", she thought to herself. At the edge of the tree line, Radiance hesitated. She could smell other dogs in the area and the trees at the edge of the forest had been marked. But her eagerness overrode her caution; she bounded through the snow to the house's side. Up close, she could now see that the hut had been crudely crafted from stacks of tree trunks, stripped of their branches and laid horizontally, one on top of the other. The gaps between the trunks had been filled with a mixture of mud and grasses, which had hardened into a solid mass. The chimney was made from river stones.
Scattered around the perimeter of the building were the tools of the occupant's trade. Coils of rope and wire sat half-buried in the snow next to simple wire boxes and steel bear traps. A hatchet was embedded in a stump next to a stack of firewood; showshoes hung from a hook on the wall. Empty tin tanning vats were turned upside down as so not to fill will snow. As she explored the scents of mouse around the wood pile, Radiance pricked her paw on a length of barbed wire buried beneath the snow. The wound did not hurt, but it caused her to give a sharp cry of surprise, which echoed across the foothills. She paused, afraid that someone may have heard.
On the opposite side of the house, a door burst open. Radiance bolted, leaping around the pile and running for the safety of tree cover. Paws churned the snow as five broad-chested dogs careened around the sides of the hut and gave chase. Radiance doubled her speed, but the pack surrounded her with practiced ease. She found herself facing the hard eyes of the lead dog. His teeth were bared and his coat flashed green and purple and black, like the feathers of a crow. A growl rumbled deep in his throat as he advanced on her. Radiance pinned back her ears and snarled, but retreated before him until she was pressed up against the logs that formed the north side of the house.
With quick glances to the side, Radiance surveyed the other four dogs that had trapped her. Two were females; one had a silky coat of brown and lilac, the other, orange stripes like a tiger. The other two were males. The younger of the two had a curly tail and was a powder blue. His growl was high pitched, like that of a puppy, but the scars on his shoulders told another story. The elder male was blacker than night, with eyes so deep a violet that they were almost black. He eyed her critically and Radiance had to resist the urge to tear his throat.
The dogs held her there until a human thudded around the side of the building. He was tall and broad. His face was worn and burned from the sun's reflection off the snow. His beard was black and covered his chest. He wore a thick fur coat and pants over leather boots. Radiance wrinkled her nose; his pungent odor was like the sweetness of a carcass left to rot in the sun. The human stood behind the alpha male and studied her. She growled deeply.
"Excellent work, Prisma." The man ruffled the dog's ears roughly. "She's a pretty one." The lead dog wagged his tail slightly in acknowledgement, but his gaze didn't waver. The man disappeared into the building for a moment and returned carrying a length of crude leather that had been braided into rope. His fingers deftly tied a knot in the rope, forming a noose, then stepped towards her. Radiance barred her fangs in warning, but the man didn't seem disturbed by her open show of hostility.
"Furor." The powder blue pup's ears pricked in interest. "Hold her." The small dog sprang forward and hit Radiance's side with surprising strength. Radiance's legs collapsed beneath her and she writhed in the snow, trying to regain her footing. But Furor stayed on top of her as she thrashed, pining her to the ground. Meanwhile, the man slipped in and, quick as a striking snake, slid the noose over Radiance's head. The leather tightened around her neck, cutting off her air. Furor jumped away as she pulled herself up, eyes flashing with hate. "This human dares to bind me?" Radiance raged. She launched herself at the man, but was stopped as Prisma knocked her aside like a bear does a fish.
Radiance now understood that a lack of steady meals had made her weaker than she realized. There was no chance that she could defeat one of these dogs in battle, much less all five of them. She backed away from Prisma, still growling. However, her malice had faded and her growl had taken on a note of fear. The alpha dog heard this and quirked his mouth in a half smile. "This isn't over, mutt" Radiance thought, but she quailed with uncertainty inside. "How will I get out of this?"
~~~

Evening fell and darkness consumed the foothills. Radiance shuddered and curled up in a ball to fend off the cold that was seeping into her bones. After she had given up, the man had tied her to sturdy peg set deep into the log wall, where she still remained hours later. At first, she'd struggled desperately, almost choking herself in an attempt to get free. When brute force did not break her tether, she'd started gnawing on the leather in hopes of snapping it. She'd made good progress until the man came outside to check on her, a bowl of fetid meat in his hands.

"I know it's not much, girl", he muttered as he approached. "But it's all I got." Setting the bowl down, he looked at the rope. "What's this then? Trying to get free, are we?" The man gave a harsh laugh. He whistled loudly and in a few seconds the black dog with violet eyes trotted to his side. "Keep a watch on this one, will ya Vex?" The dog's nose twitched and he sat in the snow. "Good boy." The man patted Vex on the head and went inside. Vex's luminous purple eyes flickered as he watched Radiance try to ward off the cold. She stared right back at him, waiting for his focus to flicker. But the dog held her eyes without difficulty. Radiance grudgingly felt respect for the dog; there were not many who could hold a wolf's harsh gaze.

"What's your story then?" she inquired after a long stretch of silence. Vex simply blinked in reply. "Fine," Radiance grumbled. "Suit yourself." With that, she planted her back to Vex and dozed off.

~~~
The morning light revealed that Vex had remained at her side throughout the night. The dog said nothing as Radiance rose and shook the night's snow from her fur, but he did raise his lips in warning as flakes pelted his body. Radiance ignored him and went over to explore the bowl that the man had left yesterday. The meat inside was coated with frost and as hard as a rock, but she bit into it anyways. Hunger raked at her belly with iron claws; she had to eat. Radiance nearly gagged as she tasted the rottenness that had invaded the meat, but forced herself to swallow. Better to die full fed from bad food than to starve on an empty stomach.
After snapping up the last of the meat, Radiance decided to try her luck again with Vex. "Are you always so quiet?" Vex glared. "The only thing you've done yet is snarl."
The dog frowned at her. "Do you always ask so many questions?" he snapped. His voice was harsh and edged with bitterness. "Now be quiet and leave me in peace!" Radiance felt a small thrill of victory and settled quietly in the snow.
She was watching a hawk soar on the breeze when the man left his hut. He came around back, Prisma trotting dutifully at his side, and patted Vex on the head. "Good job, boy." he praised. "Go on inside." Vex glared at Radiance one last time as he disappeared from sight. "Now for you, pretty lady." The man held up a length of leather, dyed the color of deep water. A flat tin disc dangled from one side. "I stayed up last night making you this collar. Thought the color would match your eyes." Radiance snarled as he reached forward, but one look from Prisma silenced her. His message was clear: touch him and I'll shred you.
The man buckled the collar around her neck. The leather was soft and supple, but thick enough to hold her. Then he took a length of thick rope and tied it through a metal ring at the back of the collar. He secured the rope to the peg in the wall and finally removed the leather tether. Radiance huffed gratefully; the noose had been uncomfortably tight. In response, the man patted her head. She laid back her ears in distaste, but with the watchful eye of Prisma focused on her, she dared not do more.
Prisma remained behind after the man left, Furor and the tiger-striped female in tow. Radiance watched with interest as the trio as they disappeared into the dark pines of the forest. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Prisma watching her with obvious interest, but when she looked at him, he turned away as if nothing was amiss.
Radiance pinned back her ears. "Why?" she snarled. "Why did you do this to me?" Furor and Vex and the two females may have helped to capture her, but because of his standing as alpha male, it was Prisma whom she blamed for her capture.
Prisma's lips quirked, as if he found the question amusing. "I do as my master tells me." His voice was smooth and airy. Radiance's mind buzzed with anger; it was obvious that he did not take her seriously.
"A true wolf takes orders from no one," she spit back. Prisma's eyes gleamed hard.
"A true wolf follows the orders of his alpha male," he said harshly. "A lesson you obviously will need to learn. You are part of my pack now, whether you like it or not wolf, and I will expect you to follow my orders as if you had been born here."
A growl grumbled deep in Radiance's throat, shaking her body down to the tips of her claws. "I will never bow to you," she hissed. "I'd rather die."
Prisma smiled cruelly. "We might just be able to arrange that." Radiance's heart clutched at the implied threat, but Prisma seemed to relent the statement. "The work we do is dangerous enough; don't go asking for trouble where isn't needed."
Radiance took his words as a suggestion for a new question. "What is your work, anyways?"
Prisma seemed pleased by the question. "We aid our master at his job and run his trapping route with him. We provide protection from bears, moose, anything really. We are his companions and friends and, most importantly, his allies."
~~~

Radiance's first few weeks living with the trapper and his dog pack went smoothly. She was rarely let off of her tether and when she was, it was always under the close watch of Prisma or Vex. The female dogs' names, she soon learned, were Tenga and Grace. Tenga's orange coat was ridiculously bright in the vast whiteness of the snow, but Radiance quickly discovered that her stealth in the forest was unparalleled. The striped dog could slip virtually unnoticed amongst the shadows casted by the tall pines. Grace, on the other hand, was as menacing as a flower. Her gentle ways stood out in stark contrast to the rough attitudes of Prisma and Vex, Tenga's silent strength, and even the rough-and-tumble enthusiasm of Furor. It was her calming words that soothed Radiance's anger whenever Prisma got under her skin. The black wolf was seemed to take every opportunity to rile her. Grace's kindness nearly made Radiance's imprisonment bearable. Almost.

She will also have a mate and be loved. I'll use her in any way I can. I will order art and draw art of her. She will not collect dust. I just want to give her a forever home. I'm tired of seeing her in that cage after every codedrop. I will not let her go to waste trust me she will have a purr-fect home.

~History/Background~
Image
My mom was a kittypet my dad was a warrior. I was stuck in-between. Little did I know my life would change soon after my first birthday.

I was born on a warm spring day. My mom was a beautiful brown American Short hair. My dad was a sleek black American short hair. Mom lived in a house and had a home. Dad was a wild cat who had a clan to live with. I was just a kit with tons of weight on my shoulders. I was the runt of the litter. Always picked on and not able to eat. I was fed by a tube by the two legs. Soon I grew but still was smaller. I still romped and played with my bigger siblings. The first day we went in the yard I was wondering what was on the other side of the tall brown fence. Then I heard it, then saw it. A sleek tom jumped on the top then down to the wet Earth floor. That was the first time I met my dad. He was covered in scars and cuts because he was a warrior. He and mom always fought about who would take the kits. Mom would win some and dad would win some. Soon I became used to the yowling and hissing of my parents. One day we were all outside and dad came with another cat. Which mom was surprised to see. She called him brother and I knew that he was family. The days went by and dad's visits decreased. He would come only two days. Soon we turned one and my siblings would treat me like a scratching post. One day when was and the others slept I snuck outside. I looked up at the tall fence. I took a deep breath and jumped. I looked at the other side it was full of trees and smells. I leaned forward to see more then I started to loose balance. I fell off the fence into torn bushes. I yowled in pain. No one was in sight till I saw a shadows dart across. It smelled like another cat. It was. It stepped out. It was a sleek gray she cat with white paws. She spoke with a soft voice,"Are you ok?" I closed my eyes trying not to cry,"No I'm in pain,"I stated. "I'm Leaffeather the medicine cat,"she told me,"I'll help you out then bring you back to fix you up." "Back to where?"I asked her. "Camp,"she said then got me out of the thorns. "Follow me,"she said,"Loose the collar." I looked down. My collar with all my information on it was right there. I pulled it off and laid it down,"I'm sorry,"I murmured. Then followed Leaffeather. She led me to a clearing then into a camp with cats. They all stared at me murmuring. I tried to ignore them. Then I heard a voice over the rest I looked up. There stood my dad."Dad,"I said. He followed me into the medicine cat den and sat down."Dawnstar who is this cat you must know her?"Leaffeather asked him. "she's my daughter,"he told her. I smiled out him then yowled in pain as she pulled the thorns from my dusty brown pelt. "Then you wouldn't mind cleaning her up after I'm finished would you?"Leaffeather asked him. "I will do that,"he said. Leaffeather smiled and pulled the last torn from my pelt. "Go on and get her clean Dawnstar,"Leaffeather said. "Follow me,"my dad said. He led me to a pool of water outside of camp. I jumped in washing the dirt from my pelt. I walked out and shook my fur. My white places were white once more and my brown pelt was no longer dusty.

~~

When we got back to camp my dad announced me as the newest member of the clan. I thought about how I would fit in. Mostly I thought about mom. How would she feel would she be hurt. Dad showed me the warriors den and I walked in. It was crowded but I finally found a place to sleep. Next to a she cat my age named Swanfeather. The next morning me and Swanfeather hunted,she showed me around camp and the territory. Then we took a walk. "your lucky,"she said. "Why?"I asked. "Umm... Your the leaders daughter!"she exclaimed. "Oh well ok so what,"I told her. "You can do anything you want!"she said. "Really that's not how it works,"I told her. "Well all the others have to respect you and all that,"she said. "Whatever,"I said. "Silent!"I heard my dad yell. "See you later Swanfeather,"I said and raced off. "Yes dad,"I said. "Today you will get your warrior name from now on you will be called Silentheart,"he smiled at me,"Now run along Silentheart." With that I dashed back to Swanfeather. "What was that about?"she asked. "I got my warrior name,"I smiled. "What is it!?"she asked. "Silentheart,"I said proudly. "Silentheart huh you some kittypet!"a voice said. Out of the shadows a gray cat with matted fur appeared. "Dawnstar take you in?"he hissed. "Well bad choice your just gonna die,"he laughed. "Leave them alone Shadow,"my dad hissed and jumped infront of us. "Whatever,"he said and ran off. "Go to camp you two,"he said and ran after him. We raced to camp and ran into the warriors den. Soon my dad returned and all the camp went to sleep.

1 year later
I was now two and was a full warrior. They treated me like I was there forever. Swanfeather and I were best friends for life nothing could break us little did I know something was about too. I race into the woods she followed closely behind me. We jumped over logs and dodged tree branches that hung low to the Earth's floor. We stopped in a clearing by a river and took a drink. "I've got you two now,"a voice said. We turned around it was shadow and another cat. "Have fun in starclan,"he said. Swanfeather jumped infront of me and clawed at him. The other cat pounced on her. They fought towards the river. "No!!!!"I yelled. Shadow leaped on me but was knocked off me. My dad had him caged to the ground. "Your turn to die Shadow!!"he said and killed him. The other cat ran off. I dashed over to the river. Swanfeather laid there. "Swanfeather!!"I yelled. "Silentheart goodbye and I never told you how much I liked your name but I love it,"and that was her last words. I fell to the ground beside her and dad put his paw on me. We walked back to camp. Dad told the news to the camp and we all cried.

1 year later

It has been a year since I lost her. I have a new friend named Swankit. She is just like her. I guess with every death there is a new life. Swanfeather watches over me now and talks to me in my dreams and is here with me but just as Swankit.

He followed Ishu to the river where all of his friends and a few grown wolves stood , Waiting impatiently . " Dirk . We told you to be ready . " Said a blonde coloured brute named Sonny . " I know and I am sorry . " Dirk said as he sat down next to his younger sister . " Okay well who wants to have a go ?? Dirk ?? " Sonny said as he glared at Dirk with his amber gaze . " Ugh ... Sure . " Dirk said and walked over to the river . He took a leap , His mouth open . he hit the water and water rushed up his nostrils , He flailed his paws til ' he reached air he took a big gulp in . " Help!!! " He called out as he noticed he was moving down stream . " Dirk ! " Sonny called as he ran after him , Ishu close on his heels . Dirk's head went under water again and he needed air . " Dirk !! " Another wolf said as she appeared , and white a blue fae , Dirk's mother . She has streams of tears running down her face and Dirk noticed they was a waterfall up ahead . He screamed again as the current grew faster . Sonny reached the edge of the river and tried grabbing for him but missed . " No !!! " Screeched Dedra as her son went over the edge . Dirk let out a scream but was soon muffled by water and the crashing of the water below .
Dirk awoke , Not knowing where he was . He stood up and coughed up some water . He then looked around , " Where am I ? " he said to himself as he looked around . All he saw was trees , The beach where he ended up a lot of water behind him . He sighed and began walking , Not knowing where he was going just knowing he had to get home .

I will be here
when you think you’re all alone
Seeping through the cracks
I’m the poison in your bones
My love is your disease
I won't let it set you free
Til I break you

You’ll never know what hit you
Won’t see me closing in
I’m gonna make you suffer
This hell you put me in
I’m underneath your skin
The devil within
You’ll never know what hit you

I tried to be the lover to your nightmare
Look what you made of me
Now I’m a heavy burden that you can’t bear
Look what you made of me
Look what you made of me
I’ll make you see

Why I Want Her:Ever since I read in the news that corgis may be going on the endangered list, I've been obsessed with them. At home I've been begging my mum to let me have one but because I already have a cocker spaniel and a cat, and it wouldn't fair because my cat is quite old. Because of this, I new I would never be able to have one in real life so I thought of the next best thing, having a corgi as a character. I already have Holly , who was designed by Rudolf, so I thought I should get her a friend.

Use:I would use her as a character and a friend of my other canines. I would order art of her(with or without my other corgi), write stories about her, maybe role play with her (I said maybe because I don't really role play that much any more) and although I'm not that good at art, I would try to draw her a lot. I love how simple yet unique she is. Noelle's history is the first history that I have actually completed and been happy with.

- About the character -
Name:
Noelle
Gender: Female
Specific breed: Canine - Cardigan Welsh Corgi.

Personality:
Noelle is a fairly laid back dog but she is lacking in some confidence. Because of this, she is not very good with human children as they tend to be quite zealous and frighten her. The cause of her low confidence seems to be something to do with her past. Other than that though, she seems to be the perfect little dog as she love to cuddle and give doggy kisses. Noelle does what she wants, when she wants but knows a few tricks like sit, lie down,come and stay which she will do on command. If you type in "Corgi Personality" in on Google it comes up with six traits; playful, outgoing, friendly, protective, tenacious and bold yet Noelle is none of these. This suggests she could be a mix of some type, and not one hundred percent corgi. Noelle is quite fearful.

History/Background:
I sat huddled at the back of the tiny cage with the rest of the puppies. My mother had been taken away from me a few days ago and although I was with the other puppies, I had never felt so alone before. I had always had my mother to comfort and protect me when I was in trouble but when the people came and took her away, she seemed to know that she would never see me again. It was the only memory I could vividly remember apart from being in the cage, my mother whispering in my ear and telling me it would be okay.

My stomach rumbled and I looked at it in confusion. My mother told me that happened when we were hungry, which was all of the time. We weren't fed much here, I was quite thirsty as well but I wasn't going to complain. The people might take me away like they did to my mother. My mother said when they take you away, they take you to a bad place and we have to be good or that we will all go there. I don't really understand though, because my mother was always good and protected.

I struggled to stand up and wandered to the front of the cage. I peaked through the bars but I couldn't see much as it was dark, the lights stopped working a few days ago. I could just about see some other cages though. Some others must be trapped here like me and my siblings. Maybe they knew were my mother was taken too.

I tried to call out to the other cages, to see if anybody else was really there, but the only sound that came out of my mouth was a weak cough that seemed to rattle through my whole body. Trying again, a let out a small whine, a pitiful attempt at a bark. It woke my siblings though, and the three of the stumbled to their feet and struggled towards me. They watched me curiously, not muttering a word but the looks of confusion in there eyes told me everything I needed to know. They were scared.

They expected me to look after them, yet I needed somebody to look after me. With my mother gone, there was nobody for me to look up too. I tried to forget about my feeling and pushed my siblings back to the corner of the cage, furthest away from the door. Once they had settled back down, I placed myself in front of them and curled up in a ball.

The cold metal underneath me caused me to shiver violently and I once again wished I had some food. Then at least I would have some meat on my bones which would keep me slightly warmer. I shuffled about to try and get more comfortable, jealous that my siblings could fall asleep so easily.

Outside of the rusting cage, I heard a door open and footsteps come towards me. I stood up, hackles raised, and positioned myself once again in front of my siblings. The footsteps stopped outside of my home and the cage door creaked open, revealing a aged looking hand. The same one that took my mother.

My brothers and sisters woke with a start. Seeing the hand coming towards us, they started to whimper in panic, scrambling to hide behind me. The hand grabbed hold of my frail body and I sank my teeth into his thumb.

*End of memory*

I woke with a start and leapt up from the cushion that I had fallen asleep on. Looking around, I relaxed when I realised it had just been a memory. A memory of my childhood. I wandered back over to the cushion and curled up on it, falling a sleep in a matter of seconds. I wasn't sleeping on metal floors anymore.

-Getting Personal-
Likes:
Noelle's favorite thing is her green cushion, which she sleeps on. It is her "Safe Haven" and when she is frightened, she will drag her cushion under a table and will stay there for a while. Noelle also loves to eat, especially bacon, which is really bad for dogs and can even be life threatening towards them. Because she isn't allowed it, Noelle has been known to break into cupboards to get to her favorite food so now bacon has been banned from the house. Strangely and unlike most dogs, she loves smaller animals like cats and rabbits. She gets quite protective of them, I will protect them from other dogs. She has quite a big motherly instinct.

Dislikes:
She is the total opposite of Holly, who loves to bask in the attention of people. Noelle hates having all eyes on her and gets quite anxious when it happens. She also hates hoovers, especially the noise they make. Whenever she sees one, she will run and hide behind the sofa or underneath a table - if she can find one. She doesn't like being alone for long lengths of time either, and gets extremely anxious and will try and escape.

I would use Autumn as a very loved character <3
- About Autumn -
Name:
Autumn
Gender:
Female
Breed:
Beagle
Personality:
Autumn is a very sweet, calm dog. She loves everyone, people and dogs alike. She loves to be around people and likes playing, but her favorite thing to do is lay down in your lap and be petted. She enjoys laying in the yard and sun-bathing, and on vacation she loves to go to the beach. Although she's normally calm, at the beach she likes to swim and chase seagulls, and at home she enjoys catching the occasional frisbee.
History:
Autumn was born on a farm with her eight brothers and sisters. She lived there for two months before the people came. On a warm, sunny summer day, the farmer put the pups and their mom in the barn. A few minutes later, many people came in and played with them! One by one, the people took the pups, until Autumn sat there alone. The farmer sighed and began to close the door, when a woman ran up to him, looking flustered. They talked for a moment and the farmer pointed at the last pup. The woman got on the floor and smiled as the puppy crawled on to her lap, looking at her with big green eyes. "I'll take her," the woman said to the farmer. She drove home with the small puppy in her lap. She named the pup Autumn, and the she had never been happier. Autumn loved her new owner, Lilly, and the two have become inseperable.

These two have a wide range of use, but my choice would probably be for something related to creating them a story that they would star in. With that though they'd be wonderful roleplay characters or even background characters (although that one seems a little unlikely.) Recently I've been wanting to start writing far more about humans and maybe move just a little bit farther away from feline based stories. I believe that these two would give me a great opportunity to expand my writing while still delving into a world of fantasy.
- About the character -
Name:
Gethdradon & Alice
While it says in the adoption rules that these names should not be changed I don't see why anyone would want to. Although Gethdradon seems like a bit of a mouthful at first it is a very nice name. Then Alice is a beautiful name, I like it's simplicity compared to Gethdradon.

Gender:
Gethdradon is male and Alice is female.
Species and/or specific breed:
In the species listed it says human-like demon / ghost and that is not to be changed. I like the idea though of someone who truly looks like they could be a demon and then their counterpart who looks completely human.
Personality:
☾Gethdradon☽:
Despite his stereotypical "bad-boy" looks he's actually fairly nice. While he probably is a bit more sarcastic and rude than wanted. Gethdradon can be very inconsiderate at times, especially when it comes to Alice. He'd rush into danger any chance he got without looking back for a second and definitely not thinking of how Alice or any of his friends would react if he was hurt. He's not the most intelligent person in the world but he's also not what most people would consider unintelligent. He's not very rational and never thinks before he speaks or does something. He will unintentionally offend someone at least once a day if not more because of this. When it comes to his relationship with Alice he's not exactly a romantic, but he does love her a lot. He does his best to make sure she's safe and happy, but is occasionally very oblivious to her actual feelings.

☾Alice☽:
Alice is completely different from Gethdradon (they do say opposites attract!) She's shy, kind, and thoughtful. Her shyness occasionally gets in the way of meeting new people and going different places, but she gets by. Since the moment she was born Alice was always a kind girl willing to share, cheer-up, or help everyone and anyone. Her thoughtfulness is far different from her boyfriend- while he rushes into decisions, she takes her time and weighs her options and thinks through every single detail before make a decision. She's very intelligent and because of this she can come off as arrogant when really she's just trying to use her knowledge for what it was meant for. Her main problem is that she trusts far too easily and tends to see the best in people instead of the worst. This is unfortunate because she has been used many times because of this whether it be for homework, cheating on tests, and various other things mostly involving her high intelligence.
