Personality:
Even though her past has been full of hardly any sort of love, Gemini's heart has not hardened towards others in the slightest. If anything, her parents rejection has had the polar opposite effect on the female. Knowing just how terrible it feels when no one cares about you, she puts her everything into showing compassion and kindness to everyone she comes across. It does not matter if they are a grumpy old Daeet or a playful youngster, Gemini will always smile at them, ALWAYS. Her eleven companions have yet to see her lose her temper even once, which is something she secretly prides herself for. You will never hear this female speak to anyone in a harsh tone, even if she is insulted harshly, she will remain calm and gentle.
Now, do not get her wrong at all, for this does not mean she is weak or a pacifist in any way. Sure, she does not enjoy conflict, that's true. But if someone attacks her physically, she is not about to just lay on her back with her tail tucked between her legs. Goodness no. She will fight if she must, and she will fight her heart out, not about to let someone else show her any form of disrespect, for that is one thing that she absolutely cannot stand. But even though she will not let someone put her down, Gemini is not going to ever be the one who starts a fight.

History:
When at first she was born, Gemini's parents looked down upon her nearly instantly. Her strange marking and dull coat forced them to wonder what on earth they had done to deserve such a horrid daughter. She always appeared to physically stand out, though not in personality, and everyone the trio met could tell that the young Daeet was very different then most others of their kind. Another reason that she was disliked, even by those who had no idea of the extent of her mystical abilities, or should I merely call it magic?

Her mother, who was a pale green in color, and father, whose coat was a dark shade of brown, lived together but with no true territory of their own, merely wandering, jumping from home to home whilst finding a new place to sleep every night. But as they traveled, it was almost as if they were constantly trying to leave the poor youngster behind, for they did not slow down when she got tired, nor did they wait up when she struggled to keep up. In their stern eyes, it was basically you do or you die, period.

At the age of a mere four months old, the strange marking on Gemini's hip began to glow during different times. Firstly, it would glow as soon as the sun went down and the stars came out, when the darkness of night engulfed them. This made her parents even more cautious around the young child, for it was an easy way to attract predatory animals, by simply seeing the luminescent light. Secondly, whenever the Daeet would fall asleep, whether it be night or day, sun or moon, the strange symbol would start to glow as well.

Now, the other times that the mark would began to shine through in luminescense was probubly the most difficult to grasp, and her parents did not truly understand it for quite a while. You see, Gemini was born with some very... Special and unique qualities that she did not share, not purposefully keeping them hidden of course. She had a sort of magic to her, quite literally. Without even speaking aloud any sort of 'spell', she could do nearly anything she wanted just by trying/thinking about it hard enough. She could make a flower grow suddenly, a rock fly through the air to hit someone, a tasty snack appear infront of her, the list goes on and on.

Now, all these strange abnormalities finally got the best of poor Gemini's mother and father. So, one day, hardly after she had turned a year old, in the middle of the night as the poor female slept, they abandoned her then and there, hoping and praying even to never see their daughter again. They would honestly have rathered that she was killed one way or another then ever have to deal with the troubles and burdens she brought them through her presence.

But Gemini did not die as her parents had so wished for, instead, she thrived, her magical abilities helping her survive on her own at such a young age. And then, just on a regular day that had begun like all the others, she ran into someone, just like her but with a different mark yet similar powers. And so, of course, the two paired up, quickly becoming reliable friends, even though both were female. And then they began to meet more and more Daeets like them, until the number totaled to exactly twelve, one daeet for each of the Astrological Zodiac signs. To this very day, the group of a dozen still seeks after their purpose for being placed on this planet, and they are very, very intent on finding it, no matter how long it takes and how hard the path there is for them.
