| Ahzenai you're wooing |
Ancci
| woo |
The tall, lean figure leaned against the tree, keeping to the shade as the mid-day sun beat down on Ahzen. No. He did not fear the sun or what damage it could do to his fair skin, -though it could do none- he simply liked sticking to the shadows. Observing all around him and waiting till he was ready to move. Few had passed by and had glanced his way, not as much as muttering a word, he had simply smirked towards every one. Seeing the way they reacted, none where surprising though.
He had managed to suppress a sigh after awhile of playing this continuous game that benefited no one. Finally, he rose to his full height and glanced about, ready to leave and move on to other places. From the look of things here, there was no one that would be able to keep up a conversation with him, which is why he had left his home in the first place. His words where simply to much for others.
Already turning his back and heading deeper into the trees that surrounded the area, he only turned back when he heard a voice booming above all the rest. Even from this distance it sent an unpleasant shiver down his spine and made his head pound lightly with each syllable that was spoken. He cringed lightly as he walked back to his previous position by the tree, eyeing the vocal being. A Ahzenai, a new one at that. Big, powerful, a warrior.
An arrogant warrior in his eyes.
A moment more and he shook his head. Trying to speak to this one was not worth his time. He was seeking a brother in arms. One who would win glorious battles with him, relish in the glory they would be given. This was simply not what he wanted. Before he had decided to turn away, his emerald eyes caught movement from the Vortex once more. A smaller, stealthier Ahzenai slipped from it's depths and approached the brute Ahzenai -Durux he noted- from behind. Slipping up beside him and speaking to him. He noticed the new Ahzenai's movements, his words, listening closely as the Ahzenai spoke of what he was seeking. This one, Ancci, was slightly more on his path. He sought to kill one with his words, to engage the enemy in a battle of tongue. He wasn't seeking fame and glory, he did not want any of that. He was content with staying back and letting others do as they please, as long as he was able to speak and have his way.
He couldn't help but smirk at the thought of engaging in conversation with Ancci. Even if for a brief moment, it would be more fun than he has had in quite some time. With a determined look in his eye, he made his way towards him. Slipping past the other people that were focused on getting to Durux. Without a sound, he walked up beside Ancii, observing him for a moment. The Ahz seemed to be watching the others gather around his brother.
"It seems to be that your brother is the most favored." He started, his accent noticeable, deciding it was best to start conversing with the Ahz before his missed his chance. Glancing towards him for a second before he continued. "Though he does seem quite..barbaric, especially for my taste. It's a wonder why most would desire him as a companion." He paused to clear his throat. "No matter, you seem more intelligent." He folded his arms behind his back as he stood beside Ancci for another moment. "Before I continued, allow me to introduce myself. I am Anton Fobion. It is a pleasure to be able to speak to you." Anton finished with a nod towards Ancci. Glancing back towards Durux for a moment before he spoke again. "Tis' a pity they do not see what I see. You have quite a tongue on you, and if I am correct, you will try your hardest to use it to its most potential. You could move an entire army if you so desired, with a single sentence. I have no doubt that I could possibly do the same. Which is why I am here. I would like to have the chance to converse with you longer than this. A simple conversation like this does me no good, nor you. So I would like to have the opportunity. If so, in the near future, it could possibly be you and I that sway an entire army off of its feet." He spoke, adding in a small hand gesture as emphasis for his last words. "Unless of course, you wish to lead. Who in their sane mind would wish for that though? With leading comes subjects, and with them, come request. They will ask everything of you and simply do you and your talents no good." He said while his arms were folded behind his back once more. Observing Ancci for what was a third time. "If you do wish to accept my offer and proceed to converse with me longer than this, you will be able to find me near the shade of the trees, observing the others as they go about their day." Anton said as he glanced back at the trees that he was watching from. "As I have said, you have a talented tongue, if this is the last we speak, do not let others deprive you of your talent. Now, it is best I be off an let what other's that wish to speak with you do so. Farewell, Ancci." Anton finished off as he gave Ancci a curt nod, stepping away from the Ahz and heading slowly back to his spot, eyeing all the others that passed him as he did. Stopping once at the tree he had been at before and leaning against it. Crossing his ankle over the other as he watched others intently.
His eyes drifting back to Ancci for a second. A faint smile coming to his face as he thought of the possibilities. Being able to speak to the Ahz would surely be the entertainment he needed. Someone that would be able to keep with him, and possibly beat him at times. It would be a war all it's own.
