It's the Christmas event Blackberry. c: Don't worry, there'll be a 2nd round so you can participate when it starts.

And don't worry about the fact that the generator said no, Taiyo.
I get enough luck in RL, so it would make sense that online luck would hate me. |D
I had fun typing out the replies and that in itself made the effort worthwhile. c:

Mikomi smiled at the warriors, tipping her head lightly to the side as she thought up of a haiku. Her gaze dropped, eyes wandering around the floor thoughtfully. Poems, ah, poems. Her favourite were free-verse - there weren't any rules she had to follow, no rhyming requirements nor line structures. But haikus were simple enough! So far, it seemed like Lady Luck had smiled down upon her, for though challenges had been frequent, they weren't too challenging or difficult, which the cat was grateful for. 'Let's see ... Haikus have three lines, don't they? The first and last lines have to have five syllables, while the second needs seven. Other than that, there are no rules to follow. Should be simple enough! And hey, even better, they're of Japanese origin; I think.' Her sapphire eyes glistened with amusement, and she looked up, a warm beam gracing her open face.

Taking the parchment, she asked one of the Faerres for a pen. When they did, she wrote the following sentences on the parchment, mouth moving subconsciously to the side as she did so:

Sun shines down on me,
Warm, beautiful, calm.
It's a great new day!

Okay, well perhaps that wasn't the best she could've done. Wincing slightly at her futile efforts, Mikomi nonetheless was pretty sure she'd completed the challenge. Meeting each warrior's eyes in turn, she gave a sweet smile at all of them and handed them the piece of paper, wide eyes silently pleading for them to accept her awkward poem. The warriors deigned to raise metaphorical brows at her, although Mikomi hoped that one of them was trying to hide his smile more because he was endeared to her rather than feeling uncomfortable at her unusual behaviour.

Tenme shuffled back hastily as she collided with the mage student, muttering a quiet apology to her. It seemed that her shyness, had once again, returned in full form.

As she was about to dart off, a gasp from the mage made Tenme turn around. She caught a glance of a pencil rolling along the slick marble tiles, and it seemed that the mage student was currently quite preoccupied with gathering all of her belongings that had been scattered onto the floor when Tenme had collided into her.

Feeling slightly guilty, for she knew she had been the cause of the mage's inconvenience, Tenme quickly scooped up the pencil and placed it in front of the mage.

The warriors nodded and moved aside and you took this chance to flee the scene. How many hurdles await in front? How many more quests and quizzes do you need to complete before you sense any kind of… clue? At least you haven't crossed a booby trap yet, you shuddered inwardly wondering what kind of horrors these 'booby traps' might present if the quests and quizzes were this challenging already. Shrugging aside the distracting thoughts you began running through the corridors until a soft shuffling caught your attention. Veering to the right you're surprised to find a half opened door. So far all the rooms you've passed were closed and locked tightly and therefore denying you your chance to search the castle thoroughly for the hidden Faerre/orb. Does this open door act as an invitation for you to enter and investigate? Is it an accident? Will you get thrown out because you entered without permission? The shuffling from within continued and finally curiosity won over, to hell with consequences! You participated in this game to find something and you're determined not to leave empty handed! You cautiously peeked in… finding yourself face to face with a furry…butt. Someone was busily scarfing down food in the room and didn't notice your entrance. Awkwardly you cleared your throat and the animal whipped around in surprise.

"Oh!" the Faerre gasped. "Oh! Oh!" the little Faerre wiped crumbs off her face as she blushed heavily. "Y-you must be a game participant!" she gasped, her tail twitching in knots and you have to admit, that this is quite a strange sight. Food was spilled everywhere and half eaten… you don't even want to know. What is this Faerre doing here… stealing from the castle storage? Is she perhaps…? "Congratulations?" the Faerre whispered warily. Huh? Is that a question? "So like.. I'm Neelie! You.. eheh found me! So.. um… what do you have to offer?" the Faerre grinned sheepishly. "I hope it's something edible."

You found a Faerre! Convince Neelie to stay with you!

The apprentice blinked her eyes and bowed down gratefully as she accepted the pencil. "T-thank you!" she whispered before she quickly darted around the corner and disappeared into the many hallways of the Mage Facility. Remembering your purpose you began your slow search for the hidden prizes, careful not to bump into anyone and careful not to open any weird magical doors. Looking down you found the marble floors of the Facility to be shifting colors. Entranced and interested you began following the twists of colors that dashes here and there all over the ground and without knowing you had wandered through an open door… looking up, your eyes spots an unnatural lump in the corner of the room, your heartbeat picks up as you neared the pile… is it what you think it is? Or does it belong to the mages?

Citrin was demeaned by the appearance of the odd, black storekeeper.
She wanted to get away from him fast, so she quickly tried to remember the faerres.
'Tenme, Tsug, Terra, Thyra, and...and Toga! Yes, five! Is that it?' she asked, hoping that she was right.

September squeaked to herself in fear. Literally shaking in hesitation, curiosity gets the best of her and she decides to investigate.

Tenme's curiosity bubbled up to the surface as she spotted the tiles of ever-changing colour. Usually, after going though what she had just gone through, she would usually be frightened out of her wits and have fled a long time go, but her curiosity got the better of her.

Her heart sped up, racing as she spotted the faint lump-like figure in the shadows. Gulping, and making a quick wish that she would not encounter any more inconveniences this time, Tenme approached the figure.

Straggler shivered as the old idiot left. She backed away. She continued on the frightful journey with a smile, a very fake one, but none the less. A smile. She walked on till she met a fork. She defiantly didn't want to stay here. So she continued

Nimbus

Nimbus's tail waved happily behind him when the twins told him he was right. He grinned as he watched the two dance around before weaving themselves back into the crowd. Slowly he heaved himself back up to his paws and started to make his way through the city.

Only a few steps in, however, he realized he had no idea where he needed to look first. Lucky for him, he managed to come across the sign. Now he had a new dilemma, should he go towards Srail or the Altar? Srail was bustling now with the tourists coming to see the event. The Altar would be quiet now that it was empty, and would probably be easier to search for stuff now that it was empty. The mottled wolf nodded his head, his decision made.

Nimbus started to trot towards the Altar, hoping that his decision was a good one.
