Algez looked at the two choices. The path to the right looked nice, but almost too nice. After tramping around in the swamp for a while, she was reluctant to trust something that looked so harmless. It would be a trap, she thought to herself. But still, the left path was all mud and vines, cold and wet. You are already cold and muddy, she thought. What’s a little bit more mud? Algez set off to the left, making a squelchy sound each time the wind spirit raised a foot out of the muck, and once more each time she set it down again. What did I get myself into? She wondered as vines trailed down, dragging across her back and leaving muddy trails in their wake.

Aruc

I was nervous as I shifted, waiting for the game to begin. There! The bugles had sounded to begin the game. But now I was stuck with a choice. Which path? The flowery path was more to my favor, but who knew if it's beauty led to something wonderful? The crooked path, though, was one not in much favor. Perhaps they had put something at the end of the crooked path? But maybe they knew he would choose it, and put something on the beautiful path. ARGH! I shook my head in despair as I looked at the two paths. The crooked left path, or the flowery right path? I decide on the crooked path and begin to slowly make my way along it.

Straggler looked at the insane Faerre, spittle was getting all over her. Mud was on her fur. Not a good day. Before he even spoke, she was thinking of the other people. Most likely in some easier place and not with an insane idiot ((which they aren't. I'm the only one who got the scary place. But I like it)) she sighed "I'm sorry sir I have no idea the name. I think it was dawn breeze or something. He was pink and white with raven black wings. Now can I leave?"

September (I know third time but changing name to June) sighed, putting her tail between her legs and slinking back to the Faerre archives. She read only for awhile until she spotted the name and the description that matched! She ran back as fast as she could, panting for air and skidding right into the warrior in her haste! "Im so so sorry!" she said blushing and offering a paw to help up the warrior. "Her name is Sodora, correct?"

Nimbus

The mottled tan and brown wolf-like creature looked curiously up at the gates of Vinara. He cocked his head from one side to pondered why exactly they escorted him to gates. Did they want him to leave? Was he not allowed to join in the fun of the event? They would have just told him if he was disqualified if he wasn't allowed to join in, wouldn't have they?

He started to pad back through the gates, his claws ticking softly on the paved streets. He assumed it was just his starting point, and an amazing one at that! He curled his dark grey wings against his back and slowly started to make his way through the city.

He was quite taken aback when the twin Faerres suddenly appeared before him. He watched their movements until his he nearly went cross-eyed and had to sit down due to their dizzy movements. They asked a really difficult questions and he closed his eyes as he tried to recall which was the first warrior.

So many faerres have left throughout the short time Vinara opened it's gates for outsiders, but very few have been anything other than commoners. His ears layed back as he wracked his brain for the first warrior's name and suddenly his crimson eyes flew open.

"Resu!" He blurted suddenly. He looked down at the twins. "Was it Resu?" He said much softer.

Tsug sighed as the apprentice began to assign him yet another task. He had just done two of them that had taken quite a bit of effort on his part and hadn’t got much recognition. When the apprentice started her task off as a question about Vinara, he perked a little. If it was just a simple question, it wouldn’t be too hard.

“…Can you find and list out all the guesses made by other people?”

Tsug stared at the apprentice, stunned. He had been expecting a question that could be easily answered by a quick visit to the Archives, not something like this! He couldn’t recall conversations like that off the top of his head, even ones he had taken part in, let alone those between others! Sighing once more, a bit heavier this time, he asked the apprentice if he could visit the library to look through the records made by secretary Faerres. The attempts made at the Queen’s name would be there if nowhere else.

Tsug stared at the enormous amount of books with regret, having arrived at the library after getting an OK from the apprentice. This was going to take a long time. He asked one of the scholarly Faerres placing books on the shelves where the secretary records were kept, and was directed to a huge pile of papers in one of the back rooms of the building. Tsug dove in and began his search. Going through hundreds of pages with no luck, he finally came across a recorded conversation between someone called “Ashenjay,” and another called “Taiyo”. Taking his chances that these were the only actual guesses that were made on the Queen’s name, he did his best to memorize the names and made a copy of the conversation for backup.

Tsug reached the apprentice some time later, in a better mood now that he had finished searching through the hundreds of pages of secretary records. He smiled a bit at the sight of the excited apprentice. At least someone was having fun with this. Stopping in front of her, he spoke his answer, glancing down at the paper he carried every so often.

“I’ve gathered the names I could find. Your question took quite a bit of effort. The guesses made for the Queen’s name are:
Snowy, White Queen, Nuoon, Frostice, Winterlake, Bianca, Blanca,
Snowfrost, Royal, Natalie, Kayla, and Katara.

I sighed. Maybe continuing down the path wasn't such a good idea. Everything was so organised and neat, it all looked the same! I looked around. One sign pointed towards the 'fantasy section', and one pointed towards the 'mystery section'.
I pondered on what section would be best to discover. I did love to read fantasy, and I did love all things on that subject... But then again the mystery section may be more likely to have prizes. I mean, it was mysterious, right? Then again it could be a trick. Maybe they knew I was going to explore that section for that reason, do they put everything in the fantasy section!
I shook my head rapidly. It was so confusing. Maybe just going with the mystery section would be fire the best.
Shrugging, I wandered over to the mystery section.

Sarill wrote:You decided to take the dirty way. Tromping through the mud and muck you wondered what could possibly hide in this disgusting and eerie place. The mud slurped and slopped around your waist as you waddled awkwardly through the swamp, until you heard an ominous loud burp vibrating from the area beside you. Your heart sank to the bottom of your stomach as you felt the mud beneath your feet slide. The mud around you burped and gurgled hungrily as they began to tilt towards you, sucking downwards when you stunned mind finally realized the dire situation. ITS A BOG! QUICK! DO SOMETHING!

LostWhisper wrote:You followed the crooked path through the beautiful gardens, twisting left and right wondering how long the trail goes. After a few more minutes of walking you found a Faerre blocking the road ahead. Seeing you, the commoner approached you warily, "Hello! I need some help!" you nodded your head slowly as a signal for the Faerre to continue. "I was supposed to go buy items to restock the weird shopkeeper's interesting store.. but I lost my list of items… do you think you remember exactly what the shop keeper sells in both her shops?"

Sebastian wrote:The mad old Faerre seem to consider your words carefully before unlatching himself from you. You began easing slowly away to avoid any other uncomfortable situations when you heard slight snifflings and the tears of the old Faerre. "Good.. good.. she's safe.." you barely caught his mutterings before he disappeared. You stood there stunned for a few moments before you slowly turned away, willing yourself to forget the strange event. You continued on your way until you met a fork in the road. Shuddering slightly, you wondered what awaits you next. If another strange event happens… would you be able to withstand the fright? Will you go… insane? The wilderness shuddered lazily as a growl echoed through the trees…

should you… wait and see or continue?

RighteousDream wrote:The warrior nodded with a smile on his face, "You're correct! Feel free to continue your search!" with that the warrior and his companion left the stage, unblocking the exit. Sighing with relief you walked through the curtains of the stage to leave the Altar through the back when something in the corner caught you eye. Warily you turned around and stared at the dark corner filled with props. You stared… and something shuffles! Should you…

investigate?

Azure23 wrote:"Oooooh! This one is smart!" one twin giggled, "Yes, this one is smart! No pea brain, no pea brain!" the other replied laughing and the young twins departed, laughing and giggling all the way, leaving you in the middle of the road, in front of the gate. You began to plodding towards Vinara when you came across a problem, Vinara is big… so where should you start searching first? You looked up and found a road sign…

should you visit the Altar or Srail?

Wolf Shadowstalker wrote:You watched as the young warrior's face brightened up like a sun and you felt relief because that's sure to be a good sign. "You're right! You wouldn't believe it but I memorized all guesses made by others because one day I'll be the one who'll figure out her name!" the young warrior laughed, "I shouldn't bother you anymore! Please continue on your game! Good luck Mister!" the excited Faerre giggled as she hopped away. Chuckling you turned and began walking down the hallway, this time keeping to the shadows to avoid any unnecessary delays… until you met that cranky old warrior again. The seasoned warrior of course didn't miss you shape. After all, he's not called the 'best' if he couldn't spot creatures hiding in the shadows right? "Hey you!" Yes, 'you' and only 'you' for this old warrior does not remember names. "What are you doing here! This is not a place for little pups to wander around! Get out!" the brown Faerre snapped, drawing his sword and swinging it at your direction. Uh oh… perhaps it's time for a retreat- with a yelp you leaped away from the angry old warrior, running out and away from the warrior's academy. It seems like this time… you found nothing…
END
(;m; good job! You did a lot of quests and quizzes and your posts were so… beautiful ;n; I feel so guilty that the random generator said no ;m; curses! do participate in the second round though xD I'm sure you'll definitely have an easier time)

i8chichi wrote:You followed the sign and entered the mystery section. As you walked through the tall bookcases your eyes widened with surprise as the books stacked on top of each other seem to tower and almost look as if they're leaning towards you. You shuddered lightly and shrugged off the scary thought when a librarian called to you. Turning around you found a small Faerre approaching you. "You look like a smart soul! Here why don't you make up a short myth for the Faerres, just write it down on this parchment." the librarian handed you a piece of paper and pen before you could object and shooed you away to a writing desk. "Oh and before you do that, let me ask you, what was the official date The Queen lifted the magical barriers from Vinara?"
