Use: I tend not to roleplay characters, as I am terrible at keeping to them and I always begin to lose my connection to the character, after ages of creating random new characters for every roleplay I joined, I guess it is stuck in my mind that the character is temporary, and not to get attached to.
Therefore I would mostly draw art of him. I draw my characters a lot, normally unfinished sketches which don't make it to the forums of CS. Almost nobody on CS sees them, but when I do finish art of my beloved characters I do everything but rub it on their eyeballs. Hugo would be drawn repeatedly. He would really help with my foal anatomy, meaning I'd doodle him constantly.
I don't really share them, but I also write lots of stories about my characters. My house is scattered with scraps of paper with scribbles of my stories all over them, each and every one about my various characters. My laptop is equally swamped with my little novellas.
I would love to write more about Hugo, write the stories that carry him through his childhood and into adulthood, and from there into his prime.

Name: Full Name - The Perfect Stranger
Nickname - Hugo
Gender: Colt | Male
Species and/or specific breed: Equine | Horse | Hanoverian
Personality: Although it still develops, Hugo has shown that he's gentle.
History/Background: Hugo was born to a small farm, filled with glossy horses bred to be great. He was no exception, with good conformation and perfect health.
Until he was around a month old, everything went well. Then his dam started to ignore him, balking when he tried to feed and otherwise doing her best to keep him away. Parzival had found a mate, and it was evident that there was no room for the little colt any more. It was decided that for the best of everyone, Hugo was to be sold, to a good home with plenty of money and time to look after the Hanoverian.
Hugo was taken to a reputable horse auction, where the horses were well cared for and of excellent pedigree. A good few people saw the potential in him, and bids were steadily going up. Eventually he was bought for a considerable price by a young man who bred Hanoverians to compete in dressage and had decided Hugo was perfect raw material. This man considered horses to be nothing more than possessions and did not care in the least for the numerous beasts in his stables. After years of formal discipline and no hints of affection, his horses were basically machines, built only for competing. Their spirit had been flattened down over the years and they were ridiculously well behaved and obedient, with no problems to speak of.
Here, Hugo's story begins.
The chocolate colored colt threw up his head as he paced nervously in the small holding pen. The auction had been a whirlwind of sensations and sounds and the foal was slightly disoriented.
Hands, calloused fingers, touched his face as a small halter was slipped over his head. Hugo, well used to this by now, had only fidgeted uneasily, unhappy with the unfamiliar figure touching him.
He was pushed from the pen. Hugo tried to turn away but was quickly dragged back and his exit was blocked. Again, he attempted to free himself and was greeted with a firm slap on his rump. Hugo was panicking now, trapped beside a man who was determined to drive him into the auction ring. A whip tickled his hocks and Hugo shot forward, through the open gates and into the ring. The man he had dragged with him sharply pulled the lead rope, and the colt's head was jerked around, his fearful eyes rimmed with white.
"Here we have a month old Hanoverian colt, The Perfect Stranger. Bred for dressage, bidding starts at five hundred dollars." An cold, authoritative voice called out.
Bids went past in a flurry of new voices as Hugo was forcefully pulled into a walk around the ring, ears flat against his skull and his steps uncertain as he showed his paces.
Eventually one tall man with arctic grey eyes settled the auction with his bid. "Two thousand dollars." He said calmly, his low voice carrying across the room, even over the cacophony of sound.
"Sold!" Was the ruling from the auctioneer.
Hugo was ushered from the ring. He had a new home.
