Myrrh is very calm and quiet, but enjoys discussions and having a good laugh. He has a soft voice, and is a gentle soul. Myrrh dislikes arguments and confrontations, and while he will retreat when others are bickering, he does not run away as he does not like to leave them alone. If things spiral out of control, Myrrh will intervene. He can be aggressive when cornered, but is very difficult to corner.
Myrrh often feels like he is surrounded by children. He tolerates the childish bickering and rough and tumble amongst the pups, but has no patience with the older packmates when it comes to such silly behaviour. He becomes mildly annoyed when someone wanders off without warning, but he always goes to find them anyway. If it was not a pup that wandered off, whoever it was often gets a sharp nip as a result of their carelessness.
Overall Myrrh is well liked amongst his family and friends because he has a kind heart and is very down to earth. He can step back and look at the big picture where others cannot, and for that reason he is often sought out for his sage advice. While he doesn't like to be nosy and keeps out of others' affairs, he always knows what to do or say when asked about their problems.
Myrrh was still a pup when he was given his gold bracelet, but only just. He was on the cusp of adulthood, and one very special night he and his littermates were gathered by their parents. They were told that it would soon be time to take their first steps as adults, and as a token of their parents' love and pride, each would receive a special gift.
Myrrh's brother was given a silver earring that glinted in the moonlight, to represent how gifted he was as a scout. His brother could hear danger from far away, and was always quick to alert the others.
Myrrh's sister was given a woven necklace with beads of all colours, to represent her ability to craft. She was a natural teacher, and one day would teach the next generation of pups how to craft interesting and useful items.
Myrrh was given a gold bracelet, to represent his warm heart and helpful paws. He was great at caring for others and would always lend aid when it was needed, so his golden bracelet symbolised how his paws were always available to help anyone who asked.
For this reason, Myrrh's most prized possession is his gold bracelet, as it symbolises who he truly is.
Myrrh was grumpy. Myrrh wasn't usually a grumpy fellow, but it was easy to guess why he was grumpy. He was wandering back to the village after a morning out, and behind him trailed the source of his aforementioned grumpiness. Three little pups were trailing after him, and one only had glance at them to see that they had many grumpiness-inducing qualities.
The first pup was looking very chastisted. His head was to the ground, his fluffy cheeks were tinged pink with shame and his eyes were focused on his paws as he dejectedly placed one in front of the other. This little puppy had clearly been a very naughty puppy. And very naughty puppies made for a very grumpy caretaker.
The second pup did not look chastised at all. He had a very smug expression on his face, and his nose was to the sky as he trotted along confidently. This little puppy was also a very naughty puppy, but he obviously hadn't thought much of the lecture he had surely received for his behaviour. A satisfied grin on his face, the pup was clearly very pleased at himself, and the untold mischief that he had caused.
The third pup had clearly forgotten about whatever naughtiness he had last engaged in. Loping along with his tail in the air, his eyes darting this way and that, he looked about in wonder at all of the sites surrounding him. This pup had been here before; he lived in the village, after all. But he was a very forgetful pup, prone to wandering off after hopping frogs or lazy butterflies, and while he never ran off to seek out mischief like his friends, trouble always seemed to be just around the corner and never ceased to find him.
"You're so good with the pups," their grateful mothers always said. "Especially with the boys."
On the days he had to take the boys out into the forest, Myrrh always came back wishing he had been asked to take care of their daughters instead. But whenever he came home with the little girl pups, he always wished he had been assigned the boys to take care of! No matter what gender the pup was, they always managed to find mischief wherever they went.
Luckily for the troublesome pups, Myrrh was always around to get them out of it. That was why he was so often chosen to watch over the little ones. It hadn't been too bad when they were smaller, but now they were big enough to get into all sorts of big puppy troubles, but too young to know not to do so.
Myrrh told himself that it would only get better, but he knew deep down that he wouldn't. The naughty little puppies would grow into naughty little adolescents, and forget their recently discovered allergies to the opposite gender. And then the real fun would begin. But Myrrh would be there to help them out of whatever crazy mischief they found themselves in.
Because Myrrh was great at looking out for others, that was what he did.

Green Arrow wrote:~RayRay~, Kennel 189's requirements are that the gender stay the same, female. I was going to try out but the fact that she had to stay a mare made me decide not to XD I find it easier to connect with males.
I apologize if this is seen as mini modding, I just thought I'd say in case it hadn't been noticed :3
