Pet's ID Tag: Kennel #7
Image of pet
Name You'd Choose for It: Caramel (Cara or Mel for short)
Species/Breed: Fluffy
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: She's just so gosh darn adorable! Squeee. ♥ I adore her design and I just want to shower her with love. She's also fluffy, which I love. I love and adore fluffy things. XD I also adore her unique and adorable design and I want to give her a home, she's been here awhile and I think it's about time that she finally got her forever home and I want rather fervently for that forever home to be mine for I honestly love her. Though I haven't won any charrie I applied for here yet, I have my heart dead set on the fluffy little cutie in Kennel 7 and I won't let my bad luck stop me for I refuse to fail again. I'm gonna try my hardest on this form because she's been here so long (at least as far as I have seen) and she deserves to finally find her forever home. I kept seeing her in the Featured Kennel and thinking that she was adorable and wanting to try for her, but since the rules only allow you to adopt/apply for one character, I'd always pass her over for another character. Now, I realize that maybe I should have tried for her all along. I'm getting far more muse for her than for any other character that I've applied for here yet.

I also took the time and effort to look up Syra's Fluffy species so that I could be better informed and more accurate when filling this form out.
History/Background/Other:Personality:
Energetic
Caramel is very energetic, she's a lovable bundle of seemingly endless energy. Due to being so full of energy, she is very playful and loves to play...a lot.

Caramel isn't energetic all the time, even she has moments when she just wants to partake in calm activities or moments of shared relaxation with the ones she loves just like the next pet.
Loving
Caramel is an exceedingly affectionate girl who enjoys curling up with those she loves and cuddling with them for hours on end, sometimes she'll show her affection by rubbing up against you or giving tongue kisses. Caramel can be a bit overaffectionate and clingy sometimes.
Outgoing
Caramel is outgoing and independent, or at least she thinks she is. She chases after her creative dreams, which often involve her owner and lending her with creative ideas. She will not back down and she is very steadfast in her beliefs and will not let anyone get in her way.
Friendly
Caramel is very friendly and amiable, she loves to make new friends and will always try to make an effort to be friends with even the most anti-social. Most of the time she is unsuccessful in making the anti-social her friends, but not from lack of trying, at the very least, she showed them kindness. She is very understanding and helpful and will listen to your problems and try to help you solve them or at the very least, give you some advice or kind words.
Shy
Caramel is really rather shy, even though she's super friendly, it takes a lot to get her to go up to someone to talk to them. She's trying her hardest to outgrow her shyness though.
Likes: Caramel loves to play and romp around, her favorite sort of toys are balls or cat toys, probably because they appeal to the cat in her DNA. When she's not playing, she's curled up and listening to the one she loves while they read a book out loud to her, sometimes she'll even be curled around her owner's neck instead of on her lap. Caramel enjoys the great outdoors and it's splendors, especially during fall, winter, and spring; often going out on a harness and leash so she doesn't stray too far away from the one she loves while they're outside. Though she hates getting wet, she loves rain, loves just watching it fall and thinking about playing in it. Sometimes, Caramel just enjoys lying in the sun and soaking in the warmth of it's rays, like most of her species do. She also enjoys high places like the rest of them and her especially favorite high place is on top of a bookcase.
Dislikes: Caramel dislikes getting wet and tries to avoid being so as often as she possibly can. Why? She's got a lot of fur, thick fur in fact! It keeps her nice and warm, but when it gets sopping wet, it doesn't dry very quickly because it's like a sponge and absorbs the water, thus making her a very cold and shivering mass of wet fur. Caramel also dislikes being left alone, even she does not know why she does, she just does. Caramel has a strong dislike for spiders, so if you bring your pet spider over and it escapes from it's enclosure, don't expect to find it alive. Expect to find it squashed under the Unabridged hardcover edition of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

Another dislike that Caramel has is for people who blare their music, she has sensitive ears, she can't handle the loud noises, they frighten her. This is not to say that she doesn't like music though, for she does love music.
Fears/Phobias: As I have sort of mentioned before, Caramel has a strong dislike for spiders, but she's also an arachnaphobe. She vehemently denies it because she feels it makes her look less...magical, but she is undeniably an arachnaphobe.
Size: I just thought I'd add this, since according to my research on Fluffies, they have various sizes that range from the size of a large hamster, to a squirrel, or even a domestic cat. So, I figured I'd put down what I imagine Caramel's size being, which is that of either a domestic cat or a small squirrel. I have this strange idea in my head that I could just see Caramel's body (alive of course) lying around the neck of a human. XD
Weight: I imagine that Caramel would weigh about the size of my Mini Rex rabbit, which it like 4 - 5 1/2 pounds. So she wouldn't weigh all that much really.
Fur Texture: Soft and silky, and oh so FLUFFEH! XD Her coat requires a lot of grooming, almost daily, but it's well worth it because it keeps him shiny, clean, an most importantly, fluffy.
History/Background:
Caramel was born from an unfertalized robin's egg that her parents had filched from a nest on their human's property. Her parents weaved the magic that fertilized the egg with their DNA to produce their Fluffy offspring. When Caramel hatched, she had hatched with a twin. Sadly however, her twin died because it was overwhelmed by the strong emotions that affected it when it came too close to one of the humans in the family. The reason I and even Caramel refer to her sibling as an "it" was because Fluffies are born hermaphroditic and claim a gender for themselves and act distinctly masculine or feminine according to which gender they choose to be and as Caramel's sibling was too young to have chosen a gender for itself, it therefore remained an "it". As the remaining kit or Fluffling, Caramel was showered with love and affection from her family and was raise in a loving and nurturing environment that allowed her to chase whatever dreams she had. Her dreams changed frequently as most young beings dreams tend to, she eventually decided that she wanted to chase something that would allow her flourish in her artistic talents. Childhood was an easy time for Caramel, she made a great many friends with other young Flufflings who lived in the area, wild or otherwise. Caramel always had periods of sadness when one of her wild Fluffy friends grew up and went away to find their place in the world, but she would always bounce back and try to make new friends.
The day Caramel grew up, which was at age 4, she decided it was time to leave her parent's home and go out to make her way in the world. She found parting with her parents very difficult, they understood it was her time to leave the nest, but they had a tough time coming to terms that their baby was all grown up. It took several hours for them to finally say their final good-byes and when they did, she was off.
Caramel flew about the country side and wildlands searching for a nest of her own to call her home for a week, she had been unsuccessful in finding a nest suitable for her as her permanent home, she had only found nice temporaries. Now, Caramel had no intention whatsoever of getting or finding herself a human companion and for the most part had stayed away from human dwellings, but on this particular day, a mighty thunderstorm had broken out and she was forced to take shelter quite quickly and the nearest and safest looking place was a large, delapidated barn. She flew inside warily, there appeared to be no one inside, in fact, it appeared as if no farm animals had inhabited that barn in over a century. There was a thick layer of dust, dirt, and other nasty things covering just about everything inside the barn. Caramel had a hard time finding a suitable place to lay down, there was nowhere really clean, so she settled on a place that looked like it was used for buidling things, a workshop of sorts. She used her tail as a feather duster and swept away as much grime as possible, figuring she'd bathe her tail in water in the morning and then wash it, that is, if the storm let up.
As she lay there, curled up in a ball, she could hear the sound of the rain pelting inside the barn across from her where there was a hole in the roof and the fierce moaning wind that made the barn creak and groan. She could hear the sounds of rats scuttling and bats flitting about. It was very spooky and scary to her and all this sound made it exceptionally hard to fall asleep, after several hours, somehow she managed to fall asleep.
When she awoke the next morning, she groomed herself and cleaned her tail off, ridding it of the grime she'd swept off of her resting place. As soon as she felt clean, she looked outside and saw, with great dissapointment that the storm had not let up, the thunder and lightning, however, had stopped. So she decided to have a look around the property, just to stretch her legs and to fing herself something to eat, foir she was very hungry. As was flying about, she saw, to her great surprise, a female human who Caramel would guess to be around eighteen years old, sitting in a tree. The girl appeared to be very sad, for some strange reason, Caramel felt compelled to go over and find out what was the matter with the girl. Flufflings are affected by the empathy and apathy of humans, this particular one was not apathetic, in fact, she was mourning the loss of a beloved pet and friend. Caramel didn't have to ask to know that, she knew that look for she had worn it many times when a friend would leave. A desire suddenly grew in Caramel's heart, a desire to cheer the girl up, for it was obvious that she needed it for she was out sulking in the rain. Tentatively, she flew over and landed on her feet on the branch next to the girl and cocked her head at her. The girl looked at her quizzically, wondering what in the world Caramel was, though she didn't know, she did not pull away from Caramel when she chose to walk onto the girl's shoulder and wrapped herself around her neck and licked her cheek where a stream of tears still lay. The girl smiled and giggled in response and in that moment, Caramel realized that she wanted to be this human's companion. And that was how she found her place in the world, she often found helping her human companion, who aspires to be an author, but has a terrible tendency to leave her stories unfinished, write her stories or give her ideas as an outlet for her creativity. Caramel often helps her companion by acting as both a supporting friend and as a muse to help her along with her books, sometimes, she just acts as a stress reliever. Something or someone to take the girl's mind off of stressful things and force her to do something to distract her from those things.
