O.O; TUNDRA CUB OMG

<3333

If I filled out an application for it, could it be a continuation of Kaori's story? The cub would be Aceline :3

My goal is to get four tundras- one adult female (got it<3), one adult male (Kaori's future mate), and two cubs (Aceline, whom she would probably end up adopting as her own, and a second to be her own son/daughter). xD You aren't planning n doing customs in the future, are you? I'd offer multiple rares off your wishlist, of course XD
Feel free to call me Mo, Moki, or any other variation of my username you can think of. (:

Sure, if you'd like. :) I don't care where you put them in your story, haha.
I'm not planning on doing customs. ^^; Sorry.

Awesome! Thanks, I didn't want you to think I was being greedy and be like "you already have one~ out. u.u".

And okay, about the customs. Just wondering :3

Parduseros wanted: Tundra cub, female
What will you name it?: Aceline
Link to character thread (so I can see how well you take care of your other characters): Here. Obviously it's a work in progress. XD
Personality: Aceline is, for lack of a better word, something of a brat. She has a tendency to look at the world with a scrutinizing, you-owe-me eye, and is both ungracious to the love her parents douse her in and oblivious to the cold truth- that is, that the world does not revolve around her. While she isn't necessarily rude, she is definitely disrespectful in a roundabout way and is highly manipulative; Aceline falls into trouble quite often, though the blame is almost always passed to one of her four siblings. She is the most dominant on the quintet, and also the most adventurous, and for this reason she has little difficulty persuading her less-domineering brothers and sisters to do as she wishes. Indeed, at times her curiosity and sense of independence can be almost dangerous, though at the end of the day she is not as self-reliant as she would like and enjoys the warmth of her siblings and parents.

She is somewhat arrogant, though not vain, and definitely not stupid, though at times one could make the assumption that she lacks a great deal of common sense. In her defense, however, she is young and has much to learn anyway, though she is exceedingly headstrong and requires a great deal of discipline and a harsh tongue to persuade her to do much of anything. She's not lazy, though- she just doesn't see the point of much, especially if she can convince someone else to do it for her. Physically she is not very strong- she was the second to smallest cub in her litter- but mentally, she is quite clever.
Story Continuation: "Mothe-!" the shrill cry ricocheted through the granite walls of the cave before it was cut off, the little cub's tawny mouth forced closed by a cream-dipped paw. [b]"Oh, hush," Aceline growled scornfully, cuffing her younger brother as she nearly simultaneously swung around to meet her mother with a mawkish smile. "Aceline," her dam, Indiya, spoke with a weary but warning voice, What have we talked about, dear?" The young cub's face soured and she shot a glare to her brother before heaving a sigh. "If I can't play nice, I can't play at all." Her tail flicked back and forth in irritation behind her small frame and she refused eye contact with her mother. That's right," Indiya nodded, biting back her own sigh and working to keep the frustration with her daughter in check. "So the next time Bansi- or anyone else- cries because of something you did, you'll be staying inside while the rest of us go out." Catching her daughter's suddenly knitted brow and scowling face, Indiya lowered her head so that Aceline was nearly forced to maintain a steady gaze. "That's right," she added firmly. "And if you think you're going to convince me otherwise this time, I'd advise you to think again, little one. I love you, but there are lines that you are crossing." With that, she licked the little cub between her nubs of horns.

Glowering at the retreating form of her steel-gray mother, Aceline gave a hmph and stormed away from Bansi until she slumped against the side of the cavern, close enough to peer out from it's mouth and see the world looming below. It simply wasn't fair, the way her mother treated her. After all, she was just trying to have a little fun. She yearned to go outside, but ever since her first- and almost final- expedition, Indiya had been more than hesitant to let Aceline, or any of her cubs for that matter, venture out alone. She had only taken her eyes off of the adventurous little she-cub for just a split second, but that was all it took for her to slip unnoticed out of the den and into the wilderness of her mother's territory. Caught up in chasing a gaggle of snow geese, Aceline hadn't noticed the difference from the ice-glazed grass and lichens and the ice-glazed tarn- clambering along on unsteady paws, she slipped- first cracking her head on a protruding rock, and then falling through entirely. Struggling to remain conscious, the only warm part of Aceline was the steady trickle of blood that streamed down her muzzle from the wound just above her eye. For several minutes she tried to cry out, but the cold made her tiny voice catch in her throat. If it hadn't of been for a hasty realization by her mother and a lucky glance from Bansi, there was little doubt that Aceline would have been lost to the dark waters. But she was rescued, and apart from symptoms of heterochromia that began a few days later and a lingering phobia of water, she recovered quite nicely from the event.

But it was all her mother's fault, wasn't it? Because Indiya had been too caught up in Aceline's siblings to even notice that her smallest daughter had wandered off in the first place. At the thought, the youth sent another searing glance in her mother's general direction. Look at her, sitting there talking about a stupid god- who cares? Anyone can make up a story, she huffed silently to herself. It's not my fault I actually want to do things around here. A ball of disgust rose in the pit of her stomach as she eyed her brothers and sisters, sitting in an almost halcyon-esque state as they listened, enraptured by the tale their mother spun. Of course, Aceline had been invited to listen as well, but instead chose to sit by herself- well, it would have been by herself if she hadn't of convinced Bansi that everything their mother was talking about was fake, because no Parduseros could ever fly or make wishes come true. That was just foolish cub stuff, she had said. It amused her that he followed her without a second thought, even when she was rough with him. Where was he now, anyway? She glanced over her shoulder, but as her mismatched gaze swept the room in wasn't until it landed on the circle of cubs that she sighted him, a stupid grin plastered across his face as he stared brightly up at Indiya.

It was then that Aceline realized something- no one was watching. Suddenly, the wind the brushed through the den's opening felt gentle and sweet as it lipped at her budding horns and swept through the scruff of her breast. Why shouldn't she leave? Obviously no one cared whether or not she stayed anyway. Glancing over her shoulder once again, Aceline felt a sliver of fear flit through her chest as she stood slowly and padded closer to the entrance, yet as she thrust her muzzle into the open air all she could feel was a deep sensation of independence, of pure freedom. I'm probably better off on my own than I am with them anyway, was the last thought that ran through her stubborn mind before she moved quietly into the open.

It was slow-going for a few minutes; every few steps she hesitated and both thought about returning and listened hard for the sound of her name. It was not until she was halfway down the slope of the hill her mother's den rested on that she took off hard, a grin exploding over her face. So this was what it felt like to be an adult- she was close enough, wasn't she? Unlike her siblings, she had the bravery to leave the den and her mother's side. She had survived the waters once already, so what was to stop her out in the open? Nothing, that's what, she told herself calmly as she half-loped, half-skidded down the snow-swept incline.

It wasn't until darkness curtained the sky that Aceline realized that she was hopelessly alone.

Please note that I tried to write this background in a less specific and less sophisticated style; I tried to capture her childishness thoughts and mannerisms XD It's also 1017; do I need to cut back on 17 words or is it going to be okay?
