The monstrous rocky mountains have never homed such a unique animal as it does now. Human populations are nonexistent around here, the extreme peaks and expansive valleys still free of human development. The area is a true oasis, perfect for wildlife of any kind. Pristine landscapes and clear air make this place desirable as a home. Now Wild Mountain Equids have discovered its beauty and have called the place their own. However, never judge a book by it's cover.

Expanses of seemingly crisp grass seems nice, but not all is well. Predators are at an all time high and Wild Mountain Equids are facing more trouble, maybe more than the area is worth. Mountain lions and bears are always on the prowl, snatching whatever prey they can manage. Foals and weaker individuals are targeted mostly, but the WME's have to learn to unite as one family to protect themselves. Old and young, strong and weak, sick and healthy; nothing matters except safety as a whole. No one should be left behind. Don't watch your back, watch someone elses and they will do the same for you.

Nᴀᴍᴇ ❝They call me Siren. It sounds pretty so I like it, but I'm not a monster that just lures in stallions by singing! And I'm not like those obnoxious things on human police cars either. I'm just Siren, no rhyme or reason to my name ok? I don't really have any nicknames either, my name is pretty short. I don't really want to be called anything else either, I like my name. ❞

Fᴜʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ❝ My coat is white, but I have dark grey patches all over me. They cover my neck and shoulder, as well as my hindquarters and onto my tail. The dark grey covers most of my legs too. Where my fur is dark my mane is a light grey, and the same light grey is the plume at the end of my tail and wraps around the edge of the dark grey. On my dark grey patches, thin black quips are all over the place with a few white ones here and there. Lastly some of my mane has a flaxen color streak to it. ❞

I care a lot about appearance of myself and others; maybe its part of the fact everything always has to be neat. I can't have a lock of mane out of place, I can't do anything without a plan. I'm never ever mean, anger and violence is no way to solve things. I'm sure there is much more too me but I feel weird describing myself so that's the basics. Don't get me wrong, I love to have fun too. I just have a bit more realistic approaches to things and like to see them done right and to the best of your ability. ❞

I lived what I'd consider a normal life. My parents were very nice, but I had other half siblings that came along before and after me, so I wasn't always the center of attention. I never was really, but I was raised well and would say I came out alright. Wouldn't you agree? I was part of a herd, but I've never been very good with names or faces so I couldn't tell you a thing about who I lived with! I feel bad for just blanking out on my entire childhood but I can't help my bad memory. It's gotten a lot better so hopefully I'll remember anyone else I meet's name.

I waited until I was two before even thinking about leaving my birth herd behind. Eventually I decided against it but it didn't stop me from going exploring. I love learning new things! I have learned a lot during my explorations, but I always go back home of course. That is.. until now. I wandered a bit too far from home and now I'm stranded! I don't know anyone or if there is even anyone around. I think I completely scaled the mountains, this isn't desert anymore. Did I mention my old heard lived mainly in the Nevada deserts? Well we did, but this place was.. something else entirely. I can't say I am not in love with the place, but I'm kind of scared being so alone. Hopefully I'll make some friends. ❞

Nᴀᴍᴇ ❝ Oh I love my name! It's Hiccup. Sounds pretty weird, I know, but that's why I like it so much. My owner Bantard gets the hiccups at the least four times a day, and she had a really bad case of the hiccups when she got me! Not a very normal way to think of a name, but it's still just as unique. Also hiccups are pretty cool sounding, Bantard says I have cute hiccups. What a coincidence I get them a lot too, so my name does fit after all! ❞

Fᴜʀ Cᴏʟᴏʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ❝ I've been told I'm pretty, it always makes me feel really fuzzy inside so I like to take care of myself. I've got a smokey colored fur. Mainly my neck, back, nose, and legs are almost black. While my belly and parts of my legs are a lighter grey. Black quip runs down my neck and over some of my back and hind end, as well as around my back lower legs. My nose and unders are tinted an orange color, almost the same as my pink hooves! My belly, legs, tail, and part of my face have white splotches. The white on my tail is dipped with a tan color and then a grey at the very tip. I've got dapples all over my body, and my black mane is dipped with a brownish tan color! ❞

Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ❝ Words can't even begin to describe me! I'm pretty rowdy and energetic, I love a good romp. I'm just as tough as any colt, not afraid to get my coat a little dirty. I make friends with anyone really, even little critters like mice and lizards. Colts and fillies, even adults! I just love everyone. I'm always nice, and I try my best to help people out. Some people have told me I'm a people pleaser, whatever that means. If someone's mean to me I get a little scared, I just don't know what to do and my brain stops working and I freeze. I HATE it, so I really really like when people are nice. Sometimes I wish I was big and tough and could yell right back at someone, but I don't have the guts. I can joke around a lot though, but it's always just teasing I don't mean to say anything bad. ❞

A humungous storm came in and I couldn't see a thing, and somehow woke up completely alone. There was a whole new blanket of snow that had buried me and any tracks from my parents I could have used to find them. Since then I've kinda had to grow up a little ya know? Actually who am I kidding! I'm still pretty foolish but I manage. Now though I've found this place. It reeks of equids, and that's a good thing. Maybe Mama and Papa are here? Or I can find some new friends to help me out. ❞

If you've ever seen the movie Avatar, I like to think I look like one of the blue people but orange instead. It sounds pretty and it rolls off your tongue without difficulty so what more can you ask for? ❞

The ginger color of my body fades to my belly and legs as a more yellow orange, and by the time you get to my ankles it's almost blond. My tail fades to the same pale color as well. My mane runs down my back as the pale orange or yellow. I have light quip around my neck and back/belly, as well as my front legs. Where my quip is, my mane runs a dark russet color. Both my back legs have short little white socks, and my I have a white mask as well. ❞

Regina is a very perky little filly. She loves other animals and exploring. Ah- exploring. One of her favorite things to do! She is constantly on the move just to see these gorgeous new sights. Running along with the birds of the sky through thick forests and up steep rocks would be her little heaven. She isn't the fastest or most athletic, but things such as this don't bother her. She is also very caring. Regina can't stand to see anyone- even her worst enemies- in pain. She would help a hurt cougar just as fast as she would help a hurt bunny. Guilt kills her. She cannot stand being guilty of something. It eats at her insides and she thinks that is no way to live. She enjoys adventure and such- but isn't to much of a dare devil. She can be quite a scare-dy cat at times. She usually isn't the one that goes first- she prefers to make sure shes not gonna die if she does it. She can get very hyper sometimes too. In fact, when it gets really cold, shes basically bouncing off the trees! She isn't looking for a mate or anything like that at the moment, but she wouldn't mind more company.

History:
Regina always had a good relationship with her dam and sire. She was their only foal and they thought greatly off her. Her father would often take her on long adventures in the mountains, and when she got back her mother would make sure she was well fed and make her rest. Her mother had always taught her that no matter who they are, if someone is in trouble or hurt, she should help. Regina now lives by this little rule. One time, she attempted helping a porcupine. I'm sure you can imagine how that worked out! But anyways, she left her little family about four months ago, and now lives alone with the other little critters for company high in the mountains.

Lurie has a way with the ladies, it is either his strange personality or his crazy hair-do.
