Skittles saw his sign of fright and backed off, flattening her ears to each side while craning her head to gaze at the ground. ''Nevermind..'' she said so quietly it was barely audible. The filly dropped her tail and let the plume at it's tip slowly float down with it. Although she was just as skittish of the other foal, she had never met an equid whereas the first meeting had gone so horribly wrong; she wasn't used to the feeling and that bugged her. Softly exhaling, the filly turned her frame to stare away from the colt and at the long blades of grass that were slowly waving through the slight breeze.

"Hello there little one," said Sienna to the filly, "would u like to place with Russet?" Sienna stepped away from over her colt and gave him a soft shove with her nose to get him to stand. "He is a bit shy. Will u show him that there is nothing to fear?"


Russet stood on wobbly legs. He eyed the filly cautiously, then took a step backward.

Skittles looked over at the colt's dam. She blinked rapidly for a few seconds. ''Ummm...'' she replied not knowing how to finish her sentence. She glanced at the colt and shivered; she was just as scared as he was. ''Ummm.... okay...'' she said making up her mind. She gulped and blinked again, opening her muzzle to direct her speech to the younger foal. ''Um.. it's ok little guy.. We are not scary. We love every equid that comes to meet us.. And again I'm Skittles. Whats your name?'' she questioned slowly, turning her head sideways in question. She glanced up at his dam, then her sire. An expression of doubt, fright, and confusion scattered her face.

"H...h... hi," Russet said reluctantly, then turned to his dam and pressed his face into Sienna's shoulder.

Sienna sniffed at her colt and then looked at Skittles with a soft expression and said, "you r doing great, Skittles. I this Russet likes you." Sienna was hopeful that Russet would learn that not everything was scary and dangerous.

Gale smiled at the two as they talked, Hiccup seemed like such a silly little girl, he lowered his head, and without realizing he did it gracefully, and began to browse at some of the lusher patches of grass. when he took the first few mouthfuls he realized just how hungry he was, trying to think back he couldn't remember the last time he ate.

Blue tried her best to a grip on herself and eventually managed to gain a finger hold on her crying, after that she worked upwards mentally from that finger hold and turned it into a much better grip on herself, with great difficulty and a groan she straightened her legs out to lay in a more comfortable position. Blues thoughts race, while she grappled to get a hold of them she managed to raise her head, sweeping her tail forward she brushed her tears away, bit by bit she cleaned herself up and made herself look prouder then she felt. Right before she rammed the control over her mind a sad little name showed before she hid it, Gale, that made her wan't to weep all over again but she quickly forgot as she had hid if from herself. When she finally noticed she was laying in a puddle of water laced with tiny streams of blood she snorted n disgust and with a sigh knew she would have to get to her feet, with a heave she did it, but only just barely. she walked away from the puddle, looking much more composed then when she had walked in and found a where after shaking herself off , walked over to it and layed down much more regally. Cleaning her coat extreamly gently she finally paid attention to the others, poor static was huddling in a shivering bundle of his own water, Siren looking as high and mighty as always and Regina and Kiran deep in a conversation.

She shook her coat and straightened her posture a tad, still switching her focus from Russet and her sire.
