~~Who I Am~~

Gender : Female
Species : Demi-God{dess}

"I know that it's a long shot, Father, but I get oh so dreadfully lonely in my travels and a companion of sorts would be a lovely help to me. Especially one who shares my taste in getting places quickly and exploring many numerous lands. The faerre who is coming to the Altar has been reported to be just that type of creature, one who can never sit still and loves to be out doing things. She would be perfect for me. Please let me go and try to win her over." The young adult practically begged her father for his permission.
It wasn't as if she couldn't go try to win the Faerre even if her father said no, the only problem would be getting back into Mount Olympus. Bringing someone knew onto the Mount without permission was simply impossible. As a demi-goddess, she was only half immortal, and it was against the rules for such people to even meet their godly parent. But it was as if the gods and goddesses favored her from the start, for even as a young child she had known her immortal family. They were always trying to make the girl live up there permanently, but that just would not happen. She was too adventurous, too playful, too energetic to stay in one place for too long. And so she traveled constantly, always in awe of the new places she would find. But she oh so longed for a friend to travel with her, and she hoped, that the time to find that friend had finally arrived.
"Well, my dearest, I know that the Faerres are a very well-behaved species, for we have not had to intervene with their decisions at all. And I know that their companionship is something many can only dream of having, a very prized thing indeed. I suppose that allowing you to try to win over the heart of one who is much like you cannot hurt anything. Besides, as far as I can tell, she is a messanger of sorts, just like your old man. Go now, my child, and hopefully you will have a new accomplice when you return. But take these for the creature, for if you do win, flight is the only way to truelly enter the Mount." The small God said to his daughter, handing her a very tiny, definately hand-crafted, pair of feathered sandals, much like his own and his daughters, except this pair, was pink.

Taking flight shortly there-after, the young demi-goddess began to get lost in her thoughts, all of which had to do with the precious faerre, Esor she believed it's name was. She had heard that the courier faerre was a rosey pinkish color, and instantly, the clever girl fit two and two together. Esor was rose backwards! Of course, that made quite a bit of sense actually. The faerre was rosey physically, and the demi-goddess could only hope that she was a cheerful and playful creature on the inside as well, for if she was as excitable and energetic as the girl had heard, they would make quite a fun pair.
So lost in her thoughts, was the beautiful blonde girl, that she had flown over the entire city of Vinara, and with an impatient sigh, she zoomed back around towards the front, where only a small line had begun to form around the Altar. Quite small, in fact, for it being a courier faerre, and that made the girl begin to wonder. Why? But as the line filled out more behind her as she awaited her turn, the blonde realized why it was so short in front of her. Why, well she was extremely early, one of the first few travelers who had arrived in search of a faerre companion!
One by one, the line in front of her began to dwindle down, becoming shorter and shorter, her time to finally speak with the faerre approaching much more rapidly then the demi-goddess had expected. She was not quite sure what she was even going to say, how she would woo the pink beauty, when she suddenly found that it was her turn. Instantly, Acira blushed a bright shade of red as she tried to quickly collect her thoughts, approaching the faerre and giving her a kind yet excited smile as their eyes met. She would just have to wing it, like she often did. It had worked for her before, hopefully it would work today.
"Well, hello there Esor! Your very excited to be here today, arn't you? Well, so am I! My name is Acira, which means quick and fast. I HATE to be late to placing, much preferring to be early. And besides that, it seems that I'm always up and moving. I'm a demi-god, well, demi-goddess, since I'm a girl. My dad is Hermes, the messanger god, kind of like you actually. He hates the fact that I can't settle down in one place. I travel, like, twenty-four seven! If I'm not exploring a new place, running around and making new friends, it just doesn't feel right to me!" Acira spoke with a very bubbly and estatic tone of voice, a huge smile on her face as her excitement began to grow as she continued to speak. True to her nature, though, she could not stay still, swaying back and forth from her heels to her toes, trying to keep at least some part of her not dead stiff, for it just felt awkward and abnormal to be so unmoving.
"Of course, I have duties too, responsibilities at times, just like you. When my father is too busy to keep up with his job, he assists service from me. I know, it sounds a bit boring, but being a part-time mailman, of sorts, for the gods and goddesses is sooooo much fun! I get to travel to even more places then the normal human could go too, places you could come with me. From the dark underworld of Hades, who actually is a quite comedic guy, to the hotsprings that Aphrodite likes to stay, and let me tell you, she never lets someone go without a gift! The only problem for me is, I get lonely when I run, when I travel by myself. I'm a pretty socialable person, and I really prefer to have company. I think you understand what I mean." The demi-goddess smiled at the small faerre, ready to say her final goodbyes, when she nearly forgot her gift.
"Oh, how could I forget! I brought you... A present, myself. You can keep them even if you choose another to follow after." Acira pulled out the small pair of feathered sandals from her shoulder-bad, the wings buzzing a bit, almost as if excited themselves as she set them near the faerre. "These are like my dad's, and mine. Hermes had them made special for you, so they should fit perfectly. I know you love to run on your own feet, believe me, I do too. But you haven't truelly lived until you've flown. Well, thats all I have to say. Have a blessed, and fun!, life Esor. And may I say, you're looking very ROSEY." THe demi-goddess gave the creature a playful smirk at the hidden meaning behind her words before curtseying lightly in goodbye. "May the gods be with you, where ever your path may lead." And with that, she walked swiftly back into the crowd, her dress swishing around her feet...
