When Gobble was young he was always the one left out at the barn. The colts played tag and he was to small, the chicks played hide and seek and he was to big, the baby pigs would see who could eat the most and he did not like there food, but to make it worse his whole family was taken away so it was just him. He would wonder around everyday until he got tired and then he returned to the house. When he got to the age of 6 all the other animals began to tell him these horrible stories that on one day a year the only meat that was eaten is turkey. He always said, "Thats not true, why would humans do that?" and no one had the answer.
Finally the day came and everyone said they felt bad for him. But, then a big limo pulled up and went to the famers house. The horses being the proudest all assumed it was for them and they were going to be bought, the chickens thought they where going to get their eggs taken and the pigs thought they where being judge for the state fair. Everyone forgot about Gobble, then two men in black suits came out and opened the door and another person in a suit came out. He went up to the door and talked to the farmer, then went over to Gobble's pen. He picked him up and said, "How would you like to be the official turkey of the U.S.A.?"
Everyone gasp and looked and Gobble. He made a sound and the man took it for a yes. Gobble looked at the name tag it read, U.S.A. President Gobble was so happy he knew he could never be eaten if he was the official bird. He was stuck in a rather large pen and then in a private jet. He was awakened when the plane landed and they took him off. He saw the President and he guess his family with some body guards waiting for him. He made a gobble sound and a little girl asked the president, "Can we name him Gobble?"
"Of course!" The president responded and then Gobble was taken into a van. When they got to the white house he was taken out and set on a counter. And the president began to pardon the turkey. After that, Gobbler lived happily for the rest of his life and the white house and then Mount Vernon.
