It was a very bright and noisy day. The creatures were roaming and making sounds with their vocal chords. Some squawked, some barked, some howled. But a lonely three-turkey flock were at the edge of a river, two of them flapping their fully fledged, beautiful brown tails. A younger one stood by submissively, glaring at their tails and how protectively they ranged themselves. The smaller turkey made big squawks, but they paid no attention. In fact, they smirked and snickered at his attempts to seem stronger and more capable of having big handsome feathers. Finally, the smaller turkey, out of peer pressure, bolted off in a frenzy. His gobbles and squawks were so loud, he couldn't keep control of himself as he fell into a hole of mud and damp leaves. Tree limbs were sticking to his talons and feathers and he picked them out sadly. The turkey soon saw the two members of his flock come back, their mouths gaping. He turned around and saw his tiny feathers were splattered with light shades of mud and darker shades on different feathers. The light was beaming onto him, and his beautiful feathers were popping out like a meerkat. He smiled and strutted his newly painted feathers.

"Gah! That painted, leafy turkey!" shouted a large voice. Uh oh - Farmer Brown! For now, why don't we just call him Painted Leaves? Well, because he left so quickly!

Entry: pilgrim was a regular meio until the third Thursday on the ninth month in the twelfth year of 2000. It was a stormy day so Pilgrim stayed in his den. He drifted off to sleep in his den, no knowing what would happen on that day. On that day he was taken in tot an experiment. The scientist wanted to make the best tasting ever. During the night the did a painless experiment causing Pilgrim to be half meio and half turkey. He ran away and stumbled to the meio adoption center, wanting a new home that won't eat him.
