"Every now and again we run across a Rune that doesn't seem to be based on anything. Like a pretty bird they come in simple designs and colors and seem to be around to simply make Eldemore a brighter place. The Blue Striped Runes plumage is made of multiple shades of blue and green with luminescent stripes appearing in a random design. They are wild Runes and prefer to be free to do as they please. Although they do seem to have a fondness for chocolate...I don't understand it either. "

She is very calm and composed. She is unnaturally smart for her age, so she becomes easily annoyed with people that are her actual age. Most if her friends are her co-workers or her old collage classmates (she started collage early so her classmates were older than her), her co-workers are in their mid-twenties to their late forties but they still treat her like an adult.

Why do you wish to have him/her:
I am in love with the Rune Dragons, so I like to keep a close watch on the main page for any new Runes or event/custom slots (still watching for the last ones :3 ) and I saw you, Jendalie, post saying this Rune is up for adoption, so I immediately clicked it because I saw that is was blue! My favorite color, the color of my eyes, my dad's eyes, my cat's eyes, water, the sky, /rant... anyways, I love blue (and green) so when I was the detail put into the Rune I had to know more, I read the bit of information you wrote, and I loved the bit with how these Runes love chocolate! I love chocolate myself, so this Rune just was getting better and better for me. This Rune Dragon has stolen my heart.

When I look at the eyes of this Rune I see a glint of joy, that of which a cheerful child would have. I have seen many beautiful Rune Dragons, but this one has such simplicity with slightly intricate designs that make me wonder "What is the whole story behind this Rune?" I am determined to find the source of the glint I see in it's eyes.

Any Quirks:
As we already know, Blue/Green Striped Runes love chocolate, well, Chirok likes to cause me grief by stealing any chocolate he finds. The strange thing is that he hates any other sweet that does not incorporate chocolate in some sort.
Also, whenever I take Chirok to a dig site... well, he likes to sit atop our, myself and the other archaeologists, heads and fall asleep. I have taken him to the doctors at the dig sites, and they all told me that he does this to annoy us... they were right.

Also, whenever I watch the modern Adams Family movies, Chirok sits on my lap and zones out, apparently both he and I love the Adams family.

The Cave Hold More Mysteries Than Can Be Solved
told from Rose's perspective

Time: 13:30 (1:30 pm)
Location: Ape Cave, Oregon
Assignment: Search the cave for any sign of primitive or advanced minerals/plants/life if possible.

Before we begin, let me fill you in, we have traveled to Oregon to search Ape Cave for unique minerals/plants/life. We have been given a national warrant to search special areas such as this cave around the country for new things. Myself and Amelia were assigned as the leaders for this search, and yes, Archaeologists do more than poke at rocks in the ground...

"Come on Rose! We are going to be the first to the cave!" Amelia VanHeart, my best friend, said to me as she pulled me along to the cave. I had been wanting to visit Ape Cave my whole life, and this was my chance. I couldn't keep myself from smiling. I grabbed Amelia's arm and ran faster than she had been running.
"Let's go Amelia!" I exclaimed in joy.

Unfortunately, we had to wait for the rest of the team to help us set up a base in a large, open area in the cave.

{I chose the name Cascade for this lovely rune because she simply reminds me of the rivers. c: So I headed up onto the internet to find some river related names, Cascade was my favourite along with Delta but I liked Cascade better. I think the image of the river came from her colors and her markings. You know the little paler markings on her, they remind me of the river, as I said before. If you have ever looked down into a pool, it kind of reminds me of that. c:}

Riversong, like the water, is constantly moving. Whether it is running around, or twitching a wing, she is never still. The only time I think she has been ever still is when she was in the egg. She loves to dance, and listen to music. Even with always moving or dancing, River loves anything calm. She loves older dog's, but a yippy, wild, little puppy? No way. She also loves to draw. I chose this name, for her looks. She reminds me of a happy, bubbling river, flowing effortlessly over rocks, calming all who take a moment to sit and watch. She looks like she is made of water, and has moss sparkling under the waves.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
The first thing that I look at when I see this beautiful rune, is her eyes. It's as if she is alive, looking through my screen at me. I feel as if I've known her all my life, and I can't stop thinking about her. This is more then a liking to this rune, it's love. Pure, unwavering, love. I would love to welcome her to my rune family, and she would make the perfect second rune. I haven't felt this much love and wanting for a rune sense I first layed eyes on Bramble, and know that I will never forgive myself if I loose her.

Meeting Brambleleaf

Well, here I was, at my new home. As we pulled up at the house, I remarked on how small it was. 'Well, it should be a nice quiet life, with plenty of paper and markers.' I thought to myself. The car door opened. I was picked up. 'Miley, back!' I heard my new owner say. I was picked up, and the first thing I saw, was a big, fuzzy, big, yellow head with the largest brown eyes staring at me. "Hi! What are you? Huh huh huh!?! You don't look like a dog! Well let's play! Come on, come on, come on!" The yellow thing said. "Who are you? What are you? I'm not a dog, I'm a rune dragon, and my name is Riversong." I replied, shyly. "My name is Miley! I'm a Yellow Labrador Retriever dog! I live next door!" She said jumping up excitedly. 'Down Miley! Go home!' My owner said, holding me closer. "Awww! Okay..." Miley starting walking back to her house, pouting. We walked up the creaky stairs to the door, and my owner opened it. It swung open with a creak, and she unlocked the front door. We went in. The first thing I noticed was that this house was HUGE on the inside. There would be plenty of room for like, a kazillion more runes! Suddenly, a large Bengal cat ran out. She was black with white swirls all over her. She had angel wings on her back in white, and flames and horns on her forehead in white. 'Hi Gypsy!' my owner said. So this cat was a girl? With it's size, it should have been a male. It wasn't fat, but it- or she, was very muscular. I knew she wasn't a cat to cross. I was set down on the ground. I started exploring the house. I felt like somebody was watching me in the kitchen, and looked around. Nobody was there. I climbed up on the little island of counter, and looked around. Still, nobody was there. Suddenly, faster then you could say 'snakes on a hot summer day', another rune had jumped out on top of me. He was brown, and had brown twigs all over his body. And... And.... was that a cowboy hat? What a strange rune. My new owner picked the other rune off of me, and put him down next to me, bending down. 'River, this is Brambleleaf. Bramble, this is Riversong.' My owner said gently. "Hello, Miss River." The other one, Bramble, said. "H-hello." I stammered. Now, to this day, we are best friends.

Irving isn't really the one to get too excited or freak out. He's laid back and doesn't worry that much about a lot of things. He can keep his cool in a bad situation and he doesn't panic easily.

Due to his extremely calm nature he can be pretty lazy sometimes, just laying in the sun sleeping almost all day. He likes to relax a little too much and could do nothing all day if he had the chance to.

Irving has beautiful feathers and he's not afraid to point that out. He just can't help but feel smug about his feathers sometimes and is often preening them and always keeps them clean.

To contradict his conceitedness, he is very caring too. He'd be willing to put others before himself and he's very kind and will do everything he can to help another rune when they need it.

There is no better way to describe Irving, he's very carefree and lighthearted all of the time and doesn't let anything get to him. He is always cheery and not many things can get him down and not even a rainy day would faze him.

Why do you wish to have him/her:
Well first off all you don't need to hear it from me that he's adorable. I think that what really drew me to him is his beautiful colors, they're so soft and calming but in another way they're vibrant which makes him unique. Also he reminds me of the ocean, i'm not sure why but I think it's his coloring, which my family always visits at least one a year and it really just brings back good memories.

I've got more room in my signature next to my other rune, Meyve, and I have a cozy little thread for them too.

Any Quirks:
Irving seems to be very interested in music and musical instruments. He also seems to like water more then most runes would. But the main quirk is that he always cleans his feathers and if they get dirt on them he will fly to the nearest stream or river to get it off.

~:One day while Irving was happily dozing off in a nice patch of sunshine in the grass he heard something. It was keeping him awake so with a little huff of frustration he got up to see what it was that was disrupting his nap. Flying high into the air he spotted a human sitting under a tree by a little stream with an odd looking thing in it's hands. His curiosity got the best of him and he flew closer to investigate and figure out what that sound was. Hovering close by he watched the person with the thing and as it's fingers moved across what looked like tiny vines or long blades of grass it made an oddly soothing sound. Even though he was curious of the strange sound making object he was still missing his nap. Landing in the grass close by the human he let out a chirp of annoyance and the human looked over, smiled and stopped moving is fingers and waved at him. Staring at the human in frustration he hopped over onto it's knee, ignoring the human's little yelp of surprise, and grabbed the object it was playing and stopped the vines from moving. Giving the confused human a little nod, he hopped down and was about to fly back to his perfect patch of sunshine but the human had started playing again. Turning around Irving glared at the human and with a yawn he marched back over to the human. The human stared at the rune and thought for a second and started playing a different tune. This tune made Irving even more tired and when he reached the human he only had time to curl up next to it's leg before he fell asleep.

~:Irving flew around happily in the forest, enjoying the wind in his face, and stopped to land on a tree branch and catch his breath. Like everyday, it was a perfect day. The sun shining, the wind blowing, the creeks running full with water, Irving sighed contently and flew down from his branch and landed on a rock in the creek. He stepped into the water carefully, making sure not to slip, and chirped joyfully as he cleaned off his feather and splashed about in the water. Once he was satisfied he climbed back out onto a rock to dry off and he was just about dry when out of nowhere something rambed into him, knocking him off the rock and into the water, very confused. He surfaced and looked around, what had knocked him off his rock? Then in the water there was a flash of silver close to his leg. He turned around, looking for it again, but only saw the bottom of the creek. Then something flew out of the water and knocked him back again. He tried to grab the culprit but it got away. Now feeling very confused he looked around everywhere WIP
