Welcome to my character competition!

End Date: All entries are due by Janruary 1.*
*Extension requests can be made, but otherwise later entries will not be counted.
Judging will begin then, and depending on how many entries I get, and how good they are, it will end up to a week later.

I've been needing a few cat charries for a while, but I just can't think of a good design. I hope you guys can!

-Because I want you to be free with your designs, I won't be supplying you with Likes or Dislikes (sorta). Just do a design, work hard on it, and you may win! I will say that I don't want "moody", "Goth", "Emo" characters. Generally I only like very light pinks, and I also love whites, creams, and robin's egg blue. Designs shouldn't be too, too complicated, but I don't want anything... blah. I would also prefer a natural base with neon markings, or all natural, but neon everything i okay, too. If you don't understand something or have a question, feel free to ask!

1: Equid Phantasm with... Swirled Leaf!
Why? The design was simply beautiful; I loved how you picked just the perfect colors, which made this girl hard not to look at. And you were right, the white does make the pick pop. I also loved the cuffs, and the name also caught my attention. I feel that you made a lot of effort and deserved first prize.
2: ~Country~ with... Blackleaf!
Why? I was looking and trying to design a character just like this, but was failing. (Go figure) So I saw this, and I just had to have it.
and... Snakevine!
The swirl on the the front leg and back leg especailly sort of just... caught my attention. I also loved the colors And I don't mind that the swirls are not smooth, that's fine!
3: The Lost soul with... Suntail!
Why? The design on the back reminded me of the ocean waves, and the base color of the sun shining on the sand. The tabby pattern was also captivating, and I was absolutey in love with her.
4: :Sunshine: with... Stripeleg!
Why? Just the overall simpleness of this design, and yet, beauty, got me. The eyes and the face completely matched my criteria, and I felt that you spent a lot of time and effort on the design.
Honorable Mention: qwertypi303 with... Vannessa!
Why? Even though the design was a bit more complicated than I imagined, I wouldn't have you change anything. I loved how the face wasn't symettrical, and that's something only two other winning entries had. I liked the eye color and the jewelry, and I could see that effort had been made.
