It's come to our attention that many people are revamping Hiccup's lines for the JBDs and then revamping their design completely. This is not allowed and we have placed rules which adhere to this on the front page.

and I was given permission by the artist to change my JBD, as long as I kept a leg marking on it. Would this still be alright?

Anything before this rule was added is fine so long as the design itself is not completely altered.
So long as you keep the integrity of the design and you have permission from the original artist that's fine. Though apparently I'm being told you have to own the dragon for two months before a revamp, which I will add now. e___e
