It's a little tricky to describe... Basically the joint where your hand meets your arm (so essentially your wrist) becomes sore and/or overstrained as it stays in one position for too long - it often happens from typing or driving for long periods. The more you do these - or other - activities, the more strain and possible damage occurs to your wrist. It starts with infrequent, but bad pains and can develop into constant pain whenever one tries to move his/her wrist...
