~Intruduction~
Have you ever seen two horses? Bet you did. Just standing. Or running. Or grazing. Or doing anything. But have you ever thought of why are they always together? Well i'm telling you, they are either siblings, or are in love. Wait, what? What are you thinking? That horses dont love? Well your wrong, you are every wrong. Horses do love. Always. And here's a story to prove it, a story, of me.

~Chapter 1~

It was a stormy night. The wind whistled and the rain poured. And there, I stood there, in the mud, snuggled up with my mother. I was born only afew hourse ago, and was already in the eye of a storm. I was a little, bay, waggy and right now weak colt. My coat was already soaked with rain, my short mane and tail had looked like chuncks of old straw, soaked old straw. My little hooves, they where 'oh so little'. They where sinking into the wet mud, that used to be lush green grass. My eyes where half closed, as I shivered in the cold, whistling wind, that was trying to knock me off balance. But my mother was there, she helped me. She was soaked too, just like me. She was a tall, proud mare. I remember very little from that time, but I think she was crying. I looked around, but saw no one, nobody at all. We where alone, completly alone. Or was it just what we where thinking? I dont know, I was a foal. And remember that time very weak. But I do remember on how there was a light, the light shooted from the sky and clouds and crashed right into the tree about 7 meters away from us. That was terrible, the tree was split in half and was now catching on fire. The terrible smell of burnt wood filled my nose and eyes, burning them. I was starting to think that this first night for me, was the last. As the cracking of the fire had gotton loader, my mother bent her head and whispered into my ear. What did she say? I think she said "Come on little one. We have to move" and I obeyed her. He started slowly walking away, away from the fire. We did have to hurry before it spread, although back then I didnt understand that. So I just followed. I had too, I knew I had too...

~Chaper 2~

As I walked beside my mother, turning away from the fire, I thought of: Why where we the only one's around? Like, I understood that the storm was terribe and everyone probably hid away from it until it's gone. But where were the other horses? My mother's family? They should be there, protecting us. Like, I was a foal, and only my mother's care and protection felt like not enough. Anything could happen, if my mother died, I would have no-where to go. It didn't make much scence, but I didnt ask her, I dont have a clue why. Probably just was too scared or shy? Or didn't want her to cry agian? Whatever the reason was, I didn't ask her. My instincts told me not to.
The storm was getting alittle weaker, the wind was still blowing and rain still dropping. But not as hard enough to stop me from standing up straight and almost fully open my eyes. Now I could almost perfectly see my mother. She was a bay, with a perfect stripe and four white socks. Although they looked more grey or brown because of the mud. I was a perfect, chestnut colt with a star and two socks. Both on my two back legs. I could not smell the smoke anymore, maybe my mother did, but my scenting was weak, as I was still a colt. But my mother's was perfect, so I didnt know if we where far away from the fire of not. A safe distance. But once we stopped, I was sure we where safe. Where we rested was a tall hill. I bet it used to be bursting with grass and wild flowers, but now all that was left was a few patches of dull, dark grass and mud. Some stones too. As my mother watched over the land, probably trying to figure out where to go next, I nursed at her side. Atleast I had some thing to eat, but she didn't. And if she didnt eat, she wouldn't be able to produce milk for me. I heard her sigh, that gave me a hint that she saw no food anywhere around.
Soon we began to move agian, and travelled for long. Many hours I guessed, but they seemed like years. And all I said was, "Are we there yet?" and all my mother anwsered all the time was, "We have no destination. We are looking for food and shelter. So that is unknown". I was feeling like I was just about to tremble over my head and land on my back as he kept on walking, My legs where begining to feel wobbly and my brain full of thoughts. And always asked for a stop to rest, but my mother didn't allow it "Not much longer little one, not much longer" but I guess we never got there, as we continued travelling, travelling, travelling. This journey seemed to have no end.

You wouldn't spam it! I love hearing from people of how they think my story is going along. Some people say "PM me on what you think", I think that that scares people off XD
