There were two figures off to the shadows however, one human shaped and the other a bird. Both set's of eyes pierced the darkness as the Queen turned into a beautiful exotic creature who's gaze looked as sharp as knives yet coolly calculating.
A girl stepped from the shadows, her blond hair falling around her shoulders, her stormy eyes taking in the scene. Her aviator jacket was curled around her frame on the chilled night. A large blue bird with long flowing feathers accompanied her, it's eyes were almost colder than the night it'self....

Aquelia
Lumine padded along quietly, her soft grey fur glistening with dew. Her curious yet soft blue eyes gazed around as she padded along the beaten stony path. Her long fluffy tail trailed behind her ocassionally lifting in the air away from mud puddles. An aqua blue orb or a marble I suppose you could say graced itself around her neck. The orb glowed a soft hue of blue and seemed to swirl with never ending stars inside it. A tiny star earing on her right her bounched gingerly up and down as she padded along. She glanced up at the sky at the sun then away blinking the soft yellow dots away from her vision. Not soon after this she started to hear surprised gasps, cheers, and nervous giggles. She saw creatures soaring eagerly in the air, waiting. many other species roamed a large court yard, she couldn't see what the fuss was about. It was just another town to stop by in, nothing really new. Just as the thought entered her mind, she saw a small wolf like creature on the stage. She had white fur with verious shades of grey. The piercing ice blue eyes made her wonder, was this little creature important? Soon after the creature spoke another tok its place.
The wolf now had aqua blue fur, speckeled with lighter shades of colour. She tipped her head curiously, pricking her ears as she listened. She couldn't help but stare at the little light thing bobbing up and down...following the creature. She lifted her chin took catch a better look at the floating light thing or whatever it was. The speech of the thing intreged her and she wanted to learn more about these creatures. Why was this one so special compared to the others? She saw many roaming the not so...well less crowded streats. Some had bags strapped to them running around at a quick, never ending pace. Others she saw welding swords, their chins held high as they padded around importantly. Then there were the many 'common' creatures you could say, going about their every day lives. Why was this one so special? Perhaps it was the things markings, or the light thingy floating beside her. She heard gasps of its a mage!!!. A mage? she thought with a disdainful sniff, how was that any different from the other citizens. They all worked equally as hard, why were the...mages, any different. She listened skeptically once again the creatures speech, power abilities? She had heard correctly, the thing on the altar had the power of light at her paws. Interesting, but still why was this one being treated so differently? She still had no clue what these creatures were called, and she leaned forward asking another creature. A dragon like thing who gazed at her, or rather glared.
"You do not know? These are the Faerres! The most beautiful things here!" said the dragon and turned abrutly around to listen to the rest of the speech. A Faerre? So that's what it was called..she rolled her calm eyes. As the speech finished about the one wanting to leave just for a bit and wanting a companion Lumine padded slowly to the end of the line. Maybe these craetures were so popular and she shouldn't even be trying, but she was wondering still why this one was so darn special! Slowly but at a pace the line moved on, the sun was sliding over the sky and slowly into a sunset. Lumine shuddered, if she was to reach the altar by nightfall it would be something no one would or may have seen before. The time went on, and slowly if you looked you could see her orb glowing slightly more. As the moon reached its highest point Lumine reached her spot on the altar. She had noticed the Faerre had dissappeared, leaving nothing but the darkness. She shrugged, fine with her she'd simply talk.
"Hello Aquelia, well that is where ever you are at the moment. My name is Lumine, honestly I don't know why i'm here listening to all this of you Faerres. What makes you all so special? So popular?" she tipped head curiously sweeping her tail aroud her paws as she sat. She licked a paw drawing it over her ears and horns.
"You're a mage I hear? That's why it is so busy, may I add? Hmm...and you posess the power of light in your heart." she stated repeating what she had heard.
"Interesting, your powers are indeed different from my own, and your fur doesn'tquite match your power does it?" she said with an amused laugh. She pawed at her fluffy tails then glanced up at the darkness around her.
"I suppose you may be wondering what my power is? Well, I have the power of walking in other's dreams. To see what they feel, what they wish, and sometimes even the truth on things. Its quite interesting really, fun and interseting to see what others think. Sure it may seem wrong for privacy reasons, but when you really are confused sometimes it does help." she stated raising her chin, not afraid to state what she thought. She paused watching the glowing moon high above her.
"THe orb, or marble around my neck holds my power. See the stars swirling around it? Hmm, maybe not. ONly people that believe can see the stars and galaxies inside of it, others only see a glass bead around my neck. You wonder why people may wish you as their companion don't you? As well as to find the other half of yourself?" she tipped her head thoughtfully.
"Personally, I could care less about your powers. BUt the thing is Aquelia people love you for that quality, it makes me wonder. I've just recently met your species...interesting how they are all loved as well but you steal the show..it makes me think. I wish to learn more about you creatures, what makes a mage so special...or do you not know that reason? The true reaon Aquelia. Is it because you hold power in your paws? Is it your personality? Your status...what makes you, you? What makes you speical besides the magic quality at your paws? What makes you and other Faerres unique?" she said with slight frustration she didn't understand these species better. She thought about something then glanced around the darkness.
"What can you show me? What can you tell me? What can you teach me?" she asked confidently her long, fluffy tail lashing sweeping the dust away from the altar where her tail sweeped.
"In return, I will show you the wonders you haven't discovered, i'll tell you my species history and much more, i'll teach you about walking through dreams. I'll show you the dreams. And maybe then...you'll be able to tell me what makes you so special, or maybe you won't." she shrugged and stood up dipping her head to the darkness.
"Your future awaits you Aquelia." She said in departure as she lept off the stage and curled in the spot of moonlight, basking in it. Laying on her back her white underside seeming to glow under the rays of the moon. The orb, if you believed in magic was glowing a soft but vibrant blue, and the stars and galxies were swirling even faster, spinning and spinning...and never stopping.
